This was the BEST blade swap/Zero Gap video I've seen so far! I've just purchase the Oster Fast Feed clippers and the stock blades don't cut close enough. I'm excited to receive, install, and test my clippers, as soon as the ceramic blade arrives next week. Great job!

Thank you for the cool unboxing video and review. I usually get the Whal clippers. This time, I tried the Oster Fast feed same color blue after seeing your review. It doesn't seem like fast enough to cut hairs. Anything you can recommend that I need to do to make it cut hair faster?

why take off the plastic bar if you're just putting it back in? Just leave the plastic bar in place when switching cutter, unless you're cleaning the clipper.

So far I really like the fast feeds! I can def tell a difference fading and tapering with the ceramic blade. I'll make sure to do a comparison video once ive had a chance to use the fast feeds a little more.

Ruck I had the masters special 95th but sold them. Cannot zero gap easily and it heats up like a mutha. Even without cutting hair, read the reviews. Oster fast feeds are better to me. Though they both cut as precise to each other. Also got a few others like 2 magic clips. Using a bunch of clippers the fast feed is my fav. Andis and Oster will give you the most precise and cleanest fades for sure.

How has the blue finish held up? Has it scraped or chipped off? I was going to buy the soft touch blue ones but changed my mind last minute and went with the "brushed aluminum". I'm not impressed with the printed finish look and I notice it it's already worn off on the horizontal grip in one spot and by the lever notch. The driftwood edition would have been my first choice but that's a 2016 LE model and since sold out everywhere online.

It has held up for me! no real signs of wear at all honestly. Keep in mind im only using them a few times a month for personal use. .but yea..

That's about all I'd be using them for also. If the blue finish wears or chips to black in places I'd just assume try a Dupli-Color matte blue wrap spray or something similar to the pair I have. It's hard to tell from the limited images and videos, I assume it has a slightly bumpy texture as well? I'm torn between keeping what I have, maybe paint them or pull the trigger on the blue soft touch.

Mine are loud with the ceramic blade as well, I wasnt sure if that was normal at first
