Franco Crosti: Baureihe 42.90 and 50.40 (Märklin 39160 & 37040)

The Franco-Crosti system applied to Class 52 and 50, later renumbered as Class 42.90 and 50.40.

Another great one Frits ! The 50.40 is one of my favs !! The thing is you have the same taste in Loks as me, I have most of them too. but still packed away awaiting my new layout ;). So its great to view them here in such great detail, and a big inspiration. Thanks again. ! Glen

Da gab es real nur wenige Exemplare davon. Wegen Korrosion wurden sie schnell wieder abgeschafft. Sie sparten auf Kosten der Leistung zwar schon Kohle ein; aber die Giesl Saugzuganlage kam da besser.

Klasse Lokomotiven. Besitze zwar nur die 42 9000, aber die andere werde ich sicher auch noch irgendwann günstig ergattern können. Eine sehr ansprechende Präsentation auf einer wunderschönen Anlage!

Ich habe von Märklin den 37040. Der 39160 hol ich mir aber auch. Die zwei zusammen auf der Anlage das ist Modelleisenbahn-Porno 🤪. Schönen Gruss aus der Tschechei 🇨🇿 und bleib alle gesund😷.

sehr schöne modelle! wäre es noch möglich die mit rauchsätzen auszustatten?

Hallo Julius, Wenn du den Schlott am Kessel meinst, wäre das prototypisch nicht richtig. Die Crosti-Kaminen an der Seite sollten eigentlich Rauch abgeben, aber einen Rauchersatz in H0 gibt es produktionsbedingt leider (noch) nicht.
