Meine Familie lebt schon über 400 Jahren in der Pfalz vielleicht sogar schon länger, aber weiter kann ich es nicht mehr zurückverfolgen, wenn das mit der Pfalz passiert wäre... Da ist auch etwas wahres dran. Aber wenn es dann zu Aussagen kommt, das Elsaß wäre nicht deutsch, frage ich mich immer, was denn für dich Deutschland ist. Was ist mit Österreich? Siehst du Österreich als ein Teil der deutschen Nation? Ich möchte keinen Streit, es würde mich nur interessieren.

Germany should be given back the Eastern Oder-Neisse Line lands (Schlesien, Pommern, Preußen), and Poland should be given back the Eastern Curzon line lands (The Kresy) both East Germany AND West Germany rejected the Oder-Neisse Line initially and the Polish government did not recognize the Curzon Line at any time, even as a provisional boundary, and most Poles saw it as a betrayal from the Allies perhaps with the current Russian-Ukrainian War, there's a chance for a reshift in demographics back to the way they should be, but who knows

@@losabias4723 Victors wrote the history. Germany was the victim of both world wars and was only trying to protect herself from destructive outside elements. If AH hadn't intervened in Czechoslovakia and Poland, the slaughter of Germans wouldn't have stopped. Almost all Germans in Europe living outside the post WWII borders (((disappeared))), and now there are less Germans in Germany then there was in 1913.

Mein Vater als gebürtiger Ostpreuße aus Bartenstein hat sich dieses Lied zu seiner Beerdigung gewünscht. Und nun muß ich dieses Vermächtnis wahr werden lassen, denn er ist mit 96 Jahren verstorben und ich kann mir keine bessere Melodie für ihn vorstellen. Im Gedenken an alle Ostpreußen, die fern der Heimat den Kreis des Lebens schließen.

I miss Königsburg and East Prussia, such a strange thing since I was never alive while it existed. Maybe one day it can be returned? What was lost to Denmark, Belgium, Czechia, are one thing, but Alsace and East Prussia leave Germany looking truly mutilated.

Solltest du machen, ich wollte mit meinem Großvater auch seinen Geburtsort besuchen, leider verstarb er wenige Wochen vor der Reise unerwartet. Das Ärgert mich noch heute sehr oft. In dem kleinen Dorf wo er herkommt sah zumindest nach Satellitenbilder alles so aus wie er es noch in Erinnerung hatte.

This is the anthem, under the name 'Land der Dunklen Walder', of a much reduced Prussian Republic I'm working on for an alt-history project. The premise is Prussia lost the Austro-Prussian War, was ejected from the confederation, and after WWI fell to political ideologies similar to the NSDAP which then formed a coalition from hell when a second German civil war broke out. The civil war ends after a few years with the NatSoc coalition in charge of a new 'Greater' Germany. When WWII kicks off 'Greater' Germany is defeated as per our timeline but the German states that initially fell to the NatSocs and were previously apart of the Austrian led German Empire were reintegrated into a revived Empire while Prussia had most of it's territory stripped from it and given to either the revived Empire, Poland, or Lithuania.(There is no USSR in this timeline) Modern Prussia's territory, as imposed by the Allies, consists of the former East Prussia and the eastern parts of the Free City of Danzig around Tierford(Nowy Dowr Gdanski).

When Hitler became dictator, he abolished the free state of Prussia (west Prussia) and then the Russians and Polish took over east Prussia. Then it was completely gone.
