Hi. Thanks for supporting expats to settle down smoothly. I have opted for Ostrom following your advice, however they are starting the contract almost after 10 months. Can we switch power providers, like how we do with mobile or any other service with one month's notice? Im a bit confused.

Ostrom can start your contract the next day. Maybe your current electricity contact is still active for 10 months? In that case, Ostrom has to wait for the existing contract to end until they can become your provider 😊

@ may be. I’m with vattenfall, the default provider and may be they won’t allow switching inbetween. I’ll wait then. Thanks very much for quick response.

We don't know any gas provider that offers similar conditions, such as English service & market price such as Ostrom. For gas, we would use a comparison tool.
