Do you have any experience getting bikes onto rail replacement buses? I'm going to have to try to do that when I go from Munich to Fussen in a few weeks.

No we don’t have experience with it. As long as the bus is not packed, it should be no issue. The back door of the pass is the best to enter 😊

just to add, moving money out of india is very difficult/time-consuming (send money from INR to EUR, even with Wise). Another option is to use a Forex/Multicurrency card from a local bank and carry it with you to DE, which I did for my daily expenses.
@sauravdas8603
@sauravdas8603 13 сағат бұрын
Exactly, I tried but Wise do not support INR to be loaded. While in UK, I loaded pound, while in Sweden I loaded Swedish Krona, while in Germany I loaded Euro into my Wise Account but I could not load INR into Wise even from my NRE Account in India. So are you saying that I should load INR in the multi currency card in India and bring here in Germany and if I use that Card then automatic Euro conversion will happen and that amount will get deducted from my loaded INR amount?

I had our HR help with applying for my aufenthalstitel, and I hadn't noticed that we did this for an Aufenthaltserlaubnis type of permit instead of blue card. This happened last year, and I need to renew my residence permit now, should I reapply now for a blue card? and if so, how can this happen?

6:49 thats all jobs over all professions and experiences and all working hours.. no matter wether it's 34 or 60hours a week, don't act as if a woman gets for the same job and the same experience 20% less .. that's utter nonsense and here 9:49 you go into details why men tend to earn more than women .. because women look for different benefits due to have different expectations to fulfill to be deemed attractive

It was actually recommended to me by an ex employer who is a German doing business in the UK. 😄 I opened my account in Asia and I've never had any issues with it now that I live in Hungary. Thank you for this video. Will be very useful as my hubby will be moving to DE soon for work.

So difficult! Omg! In my country we have pinwheels" and we just have a card and you put money on it and you can use it for subway, trains, and buses. On buses you need to tell the bus driver where you're going and he'll press a buttom depending on the zone you pass your card and it will instantly charge you. For trains and subway the prices are the same always. If you want a long distance ride the price and frequence are different. *Important anyone can get the card and if you don't register your card prices can be a little more expensive, if you do register your card with a name you get cheaper prices and discounts (depending on age mostly). I think this way is very helpful and faster. I can't believe how difficult and confusing it is to take public transport at Germany. Is there any complaint of people to change the system??

This is what I do, but I am looking for an cheaper way: I have a Revolut account in USD and in EUR. I add USD to my USD account using my home country credit card. This has a fee of 2.5% if i am not mistaken. It's important to say that I pay my USD debt with my savings (also in USD). Finally, I convert my USD in Revolut to EUR at a 0.5% fee, but with a good exchange rate. So total cost os around 3-3.5% which hurts but it's the best way I have found so far

@@Bkomega It is possible to withdraw money in German with no commission fee ( but has a limit of 300 euro per day). BNP Paribas bank network offers withdraw money with 0 commission fee ( Deutche bank for Germany) . Therefore, I have a local bank account in my home country which is in the agreement of BNP Paribas. My family in my home country sends money to my bank account in my home country. Then I withdraw money from Deutche bank in Germany without paying any commission. Totally free, but has a limit for withdraw 300 euro per day. I opened a new German bank account that charges no fee. I put my cash money to that German bank account. Then I can even transfer to another German bank account without any fee. So I don't pay any fee and commission fee.

10k limit without causing suspicion and providing any docs sounds very generous. I’ve been told by Sparkasse that I need a proof of income even for a few hundreds (with translations and so on). And also that there is no way of communicating it before the transfer (you can notify the bank ofc, but they won’t do anything with this info) and they will react on the fly and can even block an account.

Thanks for the great video. I had to transfer €11208 from India to the Sperrkonto (blocked account) in Germany as part of my student visa process. My bank offered international fund transfer which had just slightly higher service fee than other private providers. Nevertheless, I went with it since it's a huge money. Also having pleasure experience with WISE for money tranfer from Germany to my home country (India).

Mann, thought i was finally loosing it. Glad to see am not the only one thinking of this. On step 1, discovery of body and for people that live alone, I was thinking one could create some sort of health checks mobile app or web app that could reach out to / ping the police whenever user fails to check in. Tried looking into some Police web pages if they provide some sort of listeners. Anyone has insights on such services ? Another, workaround, user fails to check in, app triggers an SMS to the landlord. Once again, appreciate the videos. Great work👍

I was really looking for such an information.😍 I recently inherited a land in Turkey. It is shared with many relatives so it will be sold soon. And my sister will send me the money.(over 10k) I want to ask, I don't have any bank account back in Turkey, I live in Germany and is ist still possible to transfer the money via Wise? Is this money seen as an income or a saving? Thanks in advance 😊😊😊

you will need all the proofing documentation for the inheritance ,and death certificate copy in order to submit it to your bank in germany , either way if you use wise you will need a German bank at the end to take this money

I have been living in Germany since 2013. I am a software engineer. As far as my experience goes: salary and skills/expertise/experience are not correlated. I have seen junior developer earning more than a senior developer in the same company and in the same team (I got the intel from HR friends). This is why you are not allowed to disclose your salary. Because if you do so, there might be a catastrophe and a wave of resignations. It is totally up to your negotiation skill your bargaining position, how much will you get out of your job. In my second job, I got more salary than what I earn in my fourth job. At that time, I had immnese bargaining power because of the situations at hand.

Sounds good, but the main issue is most of the employers are extremely racist. The moment they see a name that sounds South / South East Asian or middle Eastern they will put you in a 3rd priority list even if you have all your paperwork correct. Now comes to language, the language barrier is extremely huge in Germany. Even in IT where it's all English but they still ask for German to create an artificial barrier. It may sound bad but EU foreign policy needs workers but they only need white workers.

My wife has a dual citizenship in USA and Germany, she has a master's degree, but doesn't work. I am a truck driver who dropped out of college. I'm curious if we might have a chance to move to Germany. I'm sure I could easily pass an A1 and possibly an A2 German exam and I am familiar with German culture and we have many friends in Germany. Neither of us plan on working in Germany, but rather would like to retire in Germany. Would this be possible?
