YES for the “Scoop had it first!” t-shirt in scarlet with black letters or heather gray with red letters. Also, offer Scoop ballcaps that real men can wear (7 5/8, 7 3/4, or L/XL not just M/L. Hats need to be scarlet or gray not just black or white.

I hope Kirk is still reading these comments, as a portion of this video (particularly the fans/alumni potential perspective of NIL) was particularly positive, and desperately needed, IMO. I don’t know if Kirk did it deliberately, but major kudos, none-the-less. The only thing keeping this channel from being 5-stars was maturing, and getting past the potential hypocrisy, that of which almost always revolved around Buckeye Scoops indescribable sensitivity to criticism of this team. Outside of that, the information itself, from what I could tell, always seemed reliable, and reasonably accurate. *Vulgar levels of dis-tatesful hate, with the sole purpose of hurting someone, shouldn’t be tolerated. Passionate, and even at times harsh, criticism from frustrated fans is not only needed for credibility, but keeps things interesting. There have been times that I wasn’t sure if Buckeye Scoop (or people working on its behalf) knows the difference… But, I digress…. The NIL message in this video was VERY positive, and a pleasure to watch.* If Buckeye Scoop can hang on to that perspective and develop it, I think its success is unlimited, and will bring in a lot of viewers who aren’t necessarily Buckeye fanatics. I scratch my head a little as to why Kirk (or Buckeye Scoop in general) didn’t recognize the fan’s perspective of NIL sooner. How/if these kids were able to handle the pressure, and -expectations- DEMANDS of a 6/7 figure paycheck, was a HUGE and #1 concern, when NIL was on the drawing board. The #1 stress source of most seasoned ADULTS are the demands of their employment. How’s a kid who’s never worked a day in their lives, or had any REAL responsibility going to handle that???? At one point in this video, Kirk compared the criticism to how people view the NFL. From an average fan’s perspective, those are two ENTIRELY different scenarios, with the only common denominator being the sport itself, and one of the many reasons a lot of people quit watching NFL. It became a soul-less, cesspool of thoroughly ungrateful, hypocritical, rich, professional-victims. It became a slap in the face to anyone who’s gone to a game, that works for a living. *College football used to be the last place to watch kids playing for the love of the sport, while getting a 5-star education, and preparing for life via the traditional “right of passage” that the college experience used to be. And, that’s all but gone now. And, that’s saying absolutely nothing of the socio-political environment taking place on college campus’s.* Like I said, this could’ve been completely unintentional, given it was said somewhat in passing, but sometimes that’s all that’s needed. It gave Buckeye Scoop a LOT of credibility (chat room antics aside) which I would think is very important to the channel. I remember when Buckeye Scoop first hit KZbin, so I was happy to see the maturity.*

Breaking down that stretch run play on Ty Hamilton....shouldn't Sonny have cut behind the other LB when he was getting slant-blocked in front of him? They ended up bunching up all 3 guys, out of the play, when he could have used his teammate as a pick and slammed the RB for a loss instead of a 2-3 yard gain. His decision reminded me of what we kept doing against Xichigan in 2022. Guys helped the O-line block them.
