'An address delivered on October 15, 1924, Nietzsche’s eightieth birthday, at the Nietzsche Archive, Weimar.' Translator not mentioned. Published in Prussian Socialism and Other Essays (2018).
The views of Spengler are not my own. Which seems like a dumb thing to write because I’m sure that applies to everyone I’ve made a recording of, but Prussian Socialism and Other Essays was published by Black House Publishing who specialise in…questionable content. And so I disclaim a disclaimer.

Great essay by a great writer-thinker… don’t believe or share in its overall messaging… and amazing ‘read’ as always, O!

Regarding your disclaimer in the description: I noticed a while ago that thinkers who believe that History is cyclical trend to the Far or even Fascist-Right (Julius Evola, for example), while thinkers who believe in a Progressive/Hegelian concept of history trend towards the Left (Marx). I haven’t yet looked into why this is or what it could mean, but I wonder if anyone else has noticed the same and done any work on it?

tell me you didn't read Evola without saying you didn't read Evola

@@MatthewMcRowan As far as being a teleology, I’m not claiming that it’s inevitable or even true all the time. It’s just a generalization that I think is somewhat interesting. Take it or leave it.

@@MatthewMcRowan I read Evola. I read his critique of the 3rd Reich, and I read his book about “riding the tiger” through our current _Kali Yuga_ period of Bourgeois Liberal modernity. You seem to be implying that I’ve mischaracterized his thought; what part do you take exception to?
