I heard today there have been 10 million refugees from Ukraine so far. I hope some of you can come to our town. I live in Michigan, USA. I started learning the Ukrainian language when the war was a week old. I have also been praying daily for Ukraine. All of the mysteries of the Holy Rosary, daily. Praying for miracles. Praying for intercession. Praying for divine intervention. Praying for deliverance. Praying for resurrection. Praying for provision. And praying for peace. I offer all of my lenten fasting, suffering, and self-denial to God on behalf of the Ukranian people. I am also an Iraq War Veteran and I am preparing to leave everything behind in America to come to Poland/Ukraine to help. So many of us around the world believe in you and are praying for you. Hi Inna my name is Orest. I recently bumped into your channel, I'm having a revival of sorts. This situation we're in, the whole world is in, has brought me back to my Ukrainian roots. I live in Montreal Canada, my parents immigrated here in 1949 after the 2nd world war, Stalin and Hitler were the crazy tyrants at that time. In the mid 60's, to preserve their culture, my parents had me and my sister attend Ukrainian school on Saturday mornings, participate in Ukrainian dancing, learn musical instruments, sing in Ukrainian choirs and a host of other activities. As time went on and being on my own I slowly began to drift away from all of these connections to Ukrainian culture. To make a long story short, the recent events have rekindled my desire to revisit my mother tongue. It's all in my subconscious somewhere and every time I watch one of your videos it's like I know what your going to say so I say it and then you say it and then the connection in my brain is re-established... I guess it's because those sounds are the first ones I heard when I was a young child, when my parents spoke to me, this whole experience is quite fascinating I find. Anyway, thank you for being so clear and concise in your videos. You are really a knowledgeable and a an excellent teacher. Now on another note. I know you are under great stress with this recent occupation, what a horrific situation. It's time for courage and to be able to move quickly if need be, to be detached from things for the moment. This terrible time will pass, Ukraine will not fall, the tyrant behind these atrocities will fall as they all do and his country will pay a heavy price for generations to come. They will have to repay for all the destruction and death they caused and Ukraine will rise up again like the phoenix in all it's glory. We are with you and pressuring our governments to do more, I attend weekly protests with other Ukrainian Canadians marching for an end to this illegal invasion. We replay the sirens at all our meetings to remind us of your immediate reality...you are not alone. I send you my love and prayers for a quick resolution to this situation and leave you with these words of wisdom from one of my favorite philosophers: "The only way to handle danger is to face it. If you start getting frightened of it, then you make it worse, because you project onto it all kinds of bogeys and threats that don't exist at all. The rule for all terrors is head straight into them. When you are sailing in a storm, you don't let a wave hit your boat on the side. Слава Україні! Thank you sincerely, Inna, for giving us all The Lord's Prayer, ОТЧЕ НАШ, in Ukrainian to learn and pray with you for Heavenly protection of Ukraine 🙏 My late father was Ukrainian. I hope his story in brief here helps to keep you strong of mind. He was one of the brave soldiers who also defended Ukraine (78+ years ago). He left half of one leg in Italy (landmine) but the rest of him came smiling victoriously to Scotland/UK in 1944, when he was 25 years old. He knew the sounds around him well, that you have also heard. He told me he used to say it was God moving his furniture around (clumsily), just like God did when I'd hear thunder. He lived until 2000, aged 80. He cycled every day until he was 73 years old, danced the Hopak (yes even with a metal leg), sang beautifully, played instruments, and so much more! ... Oh... and in 1978 I got a surprise Ukrainian family that I didn't know I had. And we will eventually meet for the first time ever, on sunny days where they are now, in Ukraine. Dad always had *huge* faith in God, remarkable stamina, and resilience, the same as you clearly have, Inna... His smile and love of life... he held on tightly to those too, for when the sunshine broke through the clouds of the darkened days 🕊 *The Ukrainian spirit never fades.* I hope just like him, you know you're going to need all of those things very soon. God never stops listening to our prayers... I am sure He and all the angels are working very hard right now, but, trust me, they are with you all of the time. I hope you take the same comfort from knowing that; which my Dad knew all along. May God's will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Hi Inna! I'm a Brazilian studying in US, my gramma came from Ukraine at age 5 and she taught some few words. I just found this channel as well. This video just randomly popped up. I am currently using duolingo but it is hard to discuss things one on one with people even though there is a discussion button there. I live and was born in the U.S. but am of Ukrainian ancestry. I may check out her courses. I know church things well since I belong to a Ukrainian Orthodox church.
