Ukrainian is a beautiful and nice sounding language. Many Ukrainians are living now in my country (Poland) and I've found them really warm and hardworking people. On the other hand i study Turkish and Crimean Tatar and since the beginning of my journey with Crimean Tatar language i haven't met one single Crimean :/

5:54 "Ukrainian accented English - Uklish" wow. Compared to Russian people, Ukrainian people have greater advantage to learn foreign languages that use many vowels such as Spanish and Japanese. Ukrainian language is very beautiful. A Ukrainian lady living in Tokyo has her KZbin channel "Hanna in Japan" where she speaks fluent Japanese and cooks great local food at home.

I am learning Ukrainian Started 2 weeks after Putin aggression. I am Polish, I had Russian in school for over 10 years and that's help me a lot. I can use both facts to speed learning process. Mainly listening at work, to Ukrainians lessons. I hope I could use this combo to help Ukrainians guests in UK, if they don't speak English. Lots of similarity in both languages, grammar, words, and I know Russian letters, so easier for me to read in Ukrainian in comparison for German, or English native speaker 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I am learning them both and what I can say the easiest is: Pronunciation: Ukrainian Grammar: Russian Vocabulary: Russian Learning Sources: Russian The winner is Russian. If you don't plan to live in ukraine, it's better to learn russian, because it's spoken in many countries, where ukrainian only in ukraine.
@ZA-we6ii
@ZA-we6ii 3 жыл бұрын
Pronunciation in ukrainian is very simple, where in russian, you need to hear most words to know exactly how to pronounce them. Grammar is slightly simpler in russian especially падежи but the difference isn't big. Vocabulary in ukrainian is nowhere like other languages in the world, i was scared when i started learning "months" in ukrainian, where in russian it's similar to english. Learning sources, i can't find many sources to practice ukrainian, where russian, there are plenty.

You are delusional. Ukrainian pronunciation is more difficult. I have never heard a foreigner saying "г" and "х" correctly, that's why people couldn't understand them.
@ZA-we6ii
@ZA-we6ii 3 жыл бұрын
@@kullkriss a simple word like молоко is easy to read in ukrainian than russian, for russian you must hear it before otherwise it's barely impossible to guess. And guess what? o is the most dominant letter in russian, and basically most words have an o that you pronounce a, in ukrainian this problem doesn't exist. "г" is pronounced like hi if im not mistaken? why would it be difficult? and "x" is the same in both ukrainian and russian so I don't understand your argument.
@kullkriss
@kullkriss 3 жыл бұрын
@@ZA-we6ii no. There are 3 sounds in Ukrainian:"ґ"(pronunciation like russian(г)), "г", and "х". I have never heard a foreigner pronouncing it right, and people could understand this person, because of the tangible difference between "г" and "х" sound. Which is more than I can say for Russian

L'ukrainien et le russe son comme l'espagnol et le portugais. Similaires mais différents. Un espagnol comprendra le portugais et vice-versa. Comme l'italien et l'espagnol. Langues latines. Ukrainien et russe langues slaves. La grammaire e pareille. C'est mon point de vue. J'apprends les deux.

We speak Russian in Ukraine. We speak English in the u.s. (we have native languages, but we still speak a language of another country, England). When you go to Mexico, will you speak Spanish or Mexican? How about in Brazil? I bet you will find everyone speaking Portuguese and not Brazilian languages Most people around the world learn English rather than Sudanese. Its simple math. Its more useful.

*The Russian language is an artificial language, created after 1500. Before 1500 it did not exist. In Kyivan Rus, Kingdom of Rus, Lithuania-Rus state there was one official language - Old Ukrainian, which is East Slavic. So the russian language did not come from the East Slavic language, because it is an artificial. Only Ukrainian and Belarusian languages came from East Slavic.The modern Russia is an Ugro-finnic country. It is a true fact, based on true historical documents, and this fact is not argued.* *Difference between Ukrainian and russian languages is the same as between English and Dutch in lexicology. Among all Slavic languages Ukrainian has the smallest similarities with the russian in phonetics and grammar. According to the results of official linguistical researches.*

Now Ukrainian definitely! Russian is not taught in Ukraine anymore! Even more! Ukrainian (Rutenian) is the direct descendant of the ancient Eastern Slavic language! In the contrary, Russian is the invented (in 1645 AD) language by the Croatian linguist Yury Karadzhich on the basis of the Solunian Dialect of old Bulgarian language (aka Old Church Slavonic).
