An excellent and balanced review. One remark though. The software support is actually not really longer in case of iOS. All iPhone core products are upgraded only as part of the iOS upgrade. In case of Galaxys, they are upgraded separately and much longer than the official 4 year support. In some cases the support is even longer than that of their iOS counterparts. And if you look at features, many of them won’t be available on iPhones long after the official support cycle of Galaxys has ended. For instance the split screen features introduced with Note 3 are still not there for iPhones.

I have decided to just switch back and forth the 13 pro max battery has been amazing but the s21 ultra charges pretty fast. The 21 just feels like a good refresh each time I switch. They both are good in there own right. The echo system sucked me in with apple.

@@tech_glide Your right samsung seems have a pretty big ecosystem as well, I have been using the 21 ultra a lot this week and was going to give the pixel a try as well. I think maybe if I had more of samsung stuff I would be more to staying on that side. I do like the customization people say its get old by I am 44 and I like a different look from time to time, I also like the secure folder as well.

Actually just switched from the iPhone to the s21 ultra. It's phenomenal. I do miss iMessaging sometimes but only because of the convenience of it. I actually really enjoy my s21 ultra way more than I ever thought I would.

I just prefer the software at Samsung, and I like it better visually.The 10x zoom is great too. I swapped my S21 ULTRA for the ZFLIP3a cool device, but in terms of hardware it can't compete with the Ultra next year I will switch to the S22ULTRA again.

Great video as always, agreed they are so similar now it's crazy but for me I prefer the Galaxy devices (Note20U & S21U). DeX, multiwindow, splitscreen, lock apps in memory, s pen support, and I'm just all in the Google software and Samsung hardware their buds, watch, fridge, TV, and vacuum..smart things is very smart when you have all of these. One thing I want to correct, the Samsung S21U charges much faster than the iPhone 13 Pro Max, almost an hour quicker.

13pro max video are better (most cases) And s21 ultra picture are better (most cases) But i would recommend you to go for some digital camera like nikonD5000 instead (if you are fully focused on photography and filming)

I'd have to disagree about the longevity thing. All iPhone users I've known couldn't get past 3 years without doing something like a screen or battery... My mom still uses her S9+ without issue and that's from 2018... And still going strong. So all depends. But typically I see iphones getting replaced more often, especially because they force updates and tell you that certain apps won't work because the phone is "outdated", or simply the battery/screen gets ruined from basic usage within even a year!

You’re lucky to get more than 3 years of support through updates in android, while Apple supports it devices for 6-7 years. @@ghas4151 apple only does that because of how behind they are. Samsung doesn't really have to release updates as they're ahead of the game. I've had more features then any iPhone I've ever had or seen, even the brand new ones coming out. Heck, iPhone now uses Samsung screens because they were so behind 😂 As for the updates, I personally get security updates all the time. Might not be feature adding but again, we have all the features we'd want. Apple on the other hand has to constantly update and add new features to please their crowd, even though Android has had them even since the beginning 😂 like widgets? That's been around for as long as I can remember on Android... Also, my mom's Samsung S9 still has an older version of Android, and it runs better then your new 15 update. Heck even this old phone I have from back when iPhone 7 came out, works like a new phone today. In addition, iPhone constantly makes phones obsolete by forcing apps to no longer be compatible, etc.. Android doesn't do that, nor does Samsung

Great content. I don't have the s21 ultra or the Iphone13 pro max, but samsung gives you so much more then Apple can dream of. Dex for one , always on display, type c port, reverse wireless charging no flipping notch, all honesty samsung let's you use your creativity like you said to make your phone your's. While apple Stifles your creativity because they can. And I love my note20 ultra.

Just swapped my s21 Ultra for the iPhone 13 Pro. The Ultra was a fantastic phone but for me was too big. I wanted to return to iOS ecosystem as I already have the iPad Pro, AirPods Pro and the Apple Watch 6 series. The Pro is the perfect size with Pro features and I don’t regret my choice. iPhones are really for those who actually use the apple eco system. I have the Note 20 ultra, the S21 ultra. Bought the 13 pro max and took it back after 3 days because it's just "eh" for me. I don't think much impresses me coming from the S21 ultra. Tried the 12 pro max last year and sold it after a month. It's really a shame because they are beautiful phones and I want to love them, but it doesn't excite me at all what it has to offer

I’ve gone back and forth between iOS & Android since they both have their strengths and weaknesses. I feel like Samsung specifically is innovating while Apple is stagnating. I’ve been team Galaxy for 3yrs and decided I wanted to give the 13 PM a try. It’s going back today. Tapping the iPhone screen sounds hollow while the Galaxy sounds solid. Google apps run well on the iPhone but run better on Galaxy. Notifications, while improved on iPhone, are still way behind Galaxy. The iPhone camera is great but those zoom cameras have been so handy. Although the 108mp zoom isn’t of a practical nature very often, the moon shots are terrific and always stun my iPhone friends. I could keep going. I’m glad to have the chance to try Apple’s latest but my S21U is going to be welcomed back heartily.

I actually have both, my work supplied a 13 pro and its really good, feels very premium, but when it came to laying my own cash down I had to go with the S21. Its just a more rounded experience, if I can only carry one phone it would be the samsung........That said, it'll soon be time for new hardware so my thoughts may change when the S22 rocks up.

As designated in the name; phone, they should have as their primary function excellent call connectivity, and audio quality. s21u, which I have, really falls short on sound, particularly within bass frequencies. The standard of iPhones battery life and video recording is preferable too. Yet, the lack of memory card support is problematic when both phone brands have very limited storage capacity at 512gb for high quality recordings. :/

I'm at the point where I'm desperately in need of an upgrade and don't really care about OS's or ecosystems too much, I just want the overall best phone. A as someone who had a Galaxy Note 10+ and just upgraded to the iPhone 13 pro max, I would go with the s21 ultra or wait for the s22 ultra. Overall, you get more bang for your buck, the 100x zoom is awesome (my husband has the s21 ultra), and overall the shortcuts that android has that apple doesn't makes it nice for multitasking :) They both have the basic features you're wanting, but the samsung has just a little more to it thats pretty nice. I'm sticking with the iPhone this year for the apple watch, which has no competition in my humble opinion lol we tried 2 galaxy watches with not the best experience 😅

Boy! Are you dead on with this analysis. I have both phones. I'm switching to the iPhone for my main device because it works well with my MacBook Pro and Ipad in my business. Also because I prefer the flat screen. But I slightly prefer the S21U camera and definitely prefer the ergonomics and the software experience on the Samsung. However in my experience the iPhone has significantly better battery life and their are those refinements that make up for the losses. Also love how bright the screen gets. At the same time the Samsung takes it on the low side. On the speakers I slightly prefer Samsung. All in all as you say it comes down to personal preference.

iPhone got stale for me. Switched to a Galaxy Z Flip 3 last week. Only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the battery life and camera. Picture in picture for the android driving app is really useful. Carplay looks nicer than android auto, but android auto is more useful (I do delivery).

You're right.... before having Iphone (now) I was android (for 7 years). I just don't know....but I don't think that ....for me now the iPhone has been starting to be boring somehow.....I think I'll go back to Samsung. ill keep my MacBook though ha ha and iPad. Probably ill go back to iPhone when Apple will really really do something for the iPhone I don't know....just to reinvent it or something I don't know

Some people cannot fully enjoy Samsungs whole eco system because of its problems. I love my Samsung S21 ultra along with the watch 3 and it's the only phone that has managed to sway me away from Apple but the Galaxy buds pro gave me a serious ear leaking infection (Google the issue it's valid!). Still I love the S21 ultra that much that I use Apples earpods pro with it. You are right the new iPhones are not comfortable to hold like the S21 ultra is.

Techwise samsung is always ahead of Iphone, though I would still prefer to ise the IPhone, it last longer and i found it cheaper to fix.

I agree with you the 120hz on the iPhone is not impressive I’m disappointed it jus feels like another iPhone screen I even have to question when does the 120hz rate kicks in but I got to give it to the galaxy that screen feels like magic

Why choose when you can have both? I got a Note 20 Ultra, I like it better then S-pen-less21 Ultra. Then I upgraded my work phone which was a iPhone X and got 800$ trade in towards the iPhone 13 Pro Max. 2 phones 1 price can’t complain

I'm a Note 10+ user already finding that too bulky. The Note and S 21 are even bigger which is why I didn't upgrade.... so, no way I want these phones. But... Apple now makes the 13 Pro with all the bells and whistles of the Max and its a better size. Samsung's smaller S versions always compromise on the capabilities. So after Notes since the 2, I'm giving the Pro 13 a shot.

Your right there no difference it just a little things you can do in the Galaxy and little things you could do in the iPhone so if I will pick one I already have the Galaxy but I might upgrade in two years to the 13 because I want to wonder how to used a iPhone it looks awesome both of them and I want to know how to used the FaceTime on the iPhone so none is better than the other I prefer the Galaxy for now

i love both phones and i like both camera bumps. but i was thinking next year i may go with the fold 4 and iphone 14. i want the fold because i love the big display and i watch tons of video but unless they upgrade the cameras to equal the S21 or better, then ill have to buy both the iphone and fold because i also take tons of pictures, as far as games, i rarely play them. and ive heard from many people and You Tubers that the Iphone bionic chip throttles down after 30 minutes of gameplay.

Be patient,i have been a samsung user for years and the battery will automatically adjust to your daily routine and get a lot better.I don't know why but it something about samung's phone for some reason.The s21 has a decent battery life,i use mine for all day and usually get 6 to 7h SOT with some juice left

I was team Android forever… My last 4 phones were galaxy’s… I went with IPhone 12 Pro Max 8 months ago, and honastly, I see why people stay with their  products. Android always has more “Features” but after using the iPhone for a while and being In the ecosystem I found out that I really didn’t care about those features anymore, because apple does all the important shit better. The reason why he’s rokin an Apple Watch in the vid is because it’s better than anything Android offers. I have a Galaxy watch and I can’t run Google apps on it, read that again…🤣 too much fragmentation, and my Galaxy was turning into a billboard with adds on the dam weather app… Android 12 is out, but none of you will see it till next year if you’re lucky… Apps are all run better on iPhone, the build quality is better, All Google apps run perfect on iPhone, and I also have iMessage and FaceTime. I also like  pay better than Samsung pay. The combination of the iPhone and MacBook is much better than a Galaxy running dex on a windows laptop, I have both. I’m on that team iPhone shit right about now… it took me a while tho…. 🤣

If rumors are true, the S22 Ultra will be the 1 that'll make me put this awesome 512g Note 10+ away.. I left Apple when the X came out. All I want in my phone is a beautiful large display, speakers & battery.. I don't care for refresh rates, gaming, cameras, etc. It's a damn phone. I spend more time watching movies & media than talking or using any other features on the phone. Most all phones have great cameras now days, which I rarely use.. Coming from Plus Size iPhones? This Note 10+ still feels tiny in my hands & I cannot even grip a basketball.. So my hands aren't large.. I just don't see people trying to make Cinematic Movies with their phones.. That's kinda Gimmicky, imo
