Otaheite apple tart
Crust
1 stick butter
1 cup allpurpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup icing sugar
Filling
1 cup otaheite apple jam (see tutorial on my KZbin channel nextinfood how to make the jam)
1/2 cup sliced almond
Procedures
1. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add allpurpose flour, salt and almond flour . Mix with a wooden spoon to form a dough.
3. Reserve 1/2 cup of the dough to crumble on top.
4. Press the dough into a metal 8 inch tart pan. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
5. Spread the otaheite jam on the dough, top with slice almond and reserved dough. Bake at 350F for 20 to 30 minutes
