I mean, I know that's what's SUPPOSED to be next, but you know the liberties these adaptations take. They might do the Shell City arc next, purely because of how outrageously popular it was. I hope it's the Alaskan Bullworm arc next. I really want to make sure they give all of the characters their proper development, it makes what comes later (which I won't say for the Anime only viewers, though the opening already spoiled it,) much more impactful.

They probably left out many elements to use them as flash backs later, like when Plankton hires Bubble Bass and gives him the 5 pickled patty, also when Squidward stumbles upon Sandy and Patrick on the chase in Jellyfish Fields

I’m waiting on the flats Arc. “How many times do we have to teach you a lesson old man?” (Paraphrased). Starts out where flats is winning to the point it’s makes spongebob scared until he finally finds he courage to face flats only to find out he’s much stronger and that flats’s strength was all just a sham to begin with and that he can’t actually hurt spongebob. - that’s if the studio aka narmak stays true to the manga/source material.
