There’s actually a bit of dialogue you can stumble across in Junks from one of the engineers that describes how when Homs are fitted into faces, their circulatory systems are greatly increased in size and power in order to pump blood through the entirety of the mech. The red light visible in the body of nemesis and metal face is literally blood being pumped throughout the mechanical shell by their modified hearts.

You fight through hoards of enemies, leveling up while dodging the stronger ones, as though you were the strongest heroes in the land and yet somehow the damn NPCs are hangin' out there without weapons like it was no big deal. If it's in a cutscene, you can go anywhere uninterrupted, but if it's in the gameplay it's a dangerous trek.

I will be ever thankful for Smash Bros. for introducing me Shulk and the XenoBlade games. I played the second game Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on my switch, when I was looking for a RPG game, and I did not regret my purchase. I fell in love with the game and did everything I could in the game, I even bought the expansion pass because I wanted more content in XC 2. Now playing Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition I'm fully enjoying Shulk's story and loving the characters and story. Definitely a must buy title on the Nintendo Switch.

I have to agree, although I was aware of Xenoblade Chronicles. Smash was the one to convince me to get it, though, so I got X on the Wii U, then 1 on the New3DS, then 1 again on the Wii U (Virtual Console), then then 2 and Torna on the Switch and finally XC:DE. No other game has made me happy to buy it three times, ahaha. I'm definitely doing a NG+ this time and unlocking most of the stuff! :D

Truly, a magnificent game. The Xeno series as a whole is really able to inspire, and get you to think on its deep themes. While Xenoblade is more on the Fantasy end, Xenoblade X, Gears, and Xenosaga are a lot more scifi, but either way, they have a ton to offer.

@@user-sn1hi7my7x It's hard to say, we know Xenoblade 1-3 are connected. X is dubious for any of them. Xenosaga is all one story, and they are, and we do know this, connected (albeit not in a super statementy way due to legal reasons) to the original game, Xenogears. Something that appears in Xenoblade 2 may tie into Xenosaga, as may something from Future Connected, but it's only potentially. It's perfectly safe to play just the Xenoblade games, but, I'd recommend looking into the basic or summarized plot of the Xenosaga and Gears, since they're still a good story.

I had abandoned JRPGs back in the early 2000s when I started to play Bioware and Obsidian RPGs and it was thanks to Xenoblade Chronicles that I came back. One of the greatest games I have ever played. Remember getting a Wii in 2014 just to play this game and the two other games from Operation Rainfall. Good times

Spoilers Just FYI, the definitive edition redesign of Alvis all but confirms an old fan theory that he isn’t just “the computer controlling the conduit” as he states in XC1, but he is in fact, the third aegis which “disappeared in a demensional rift experiment” as klaus says in XC2. His redesign changes his necklace which used to just be a key into a red core crystal shaped just like pyra and malos’. This was believed to have been done due to how monoliftsoft not having a concrete plan for an overarching narrative connecting XC1 and 2. The remake solidified this connection more.

Hmmmm now that i seriously think about it both Zanza's and Meyneths' godly halo things are in the exact shape of the trinity processor especially during Zanza's final boss fight it even has a hexagon shape in the center exactly the same shape found on the trinity processor machine so it really does prove that Zanza only had godly powers due to the conduit/zohar and also the reason why Alvis says that his powers were finite becuase Klaus didnt truly become a god (only a God has ultimate authority, power, love, and perfection none of which Zanza had ever)

Now I finally understand the entirety of Xeno blade Chronicles one and the importance of the Future connected post game. While I still have my complaints and issues with the game especially with the story, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I didn't enjoy the story. Now I honestly wish that the next game in the series will basically have this: the good character development of Shulk from 1, the soild side character growth from 2 and the mech combat from X. If the 3rd game will have that then that will be my favorite in the series. Now I would totally love to hear Xeno saga stuff if only because that series is really really confusing and Xeno gears since not a lot of people remember that 1 despite it being the official 1st one. The only thing people remember about that 1 is the fact that the 2nd disk was crap but other then that, great lore video, would love to hear more Xeno stuff and Meila is still my favorite girl. @@OtakuDaiKun I guess it is due to the fact that combat was a lot like how you would see in an MMO, only it's more like a console RPG with MMO mechanics. That is one issue and the other was the quests and how they were handled. However Definitive Edition fixed where you would do the quest and what you needed and I guess playing through 2 fixed my bias toward MMO type RPGs. Had some bad blood with Final Fantasy 12 because of that bias. I still do appreciate the series though even if I have one friend who tried to play the first one, but after a few hours could not get into the combat.

There were points in A Realm Reborn (the main game) that felt like it dragged on even with the recent rework so it might've turned you off. Kind of like those shows that you gotta stick through the first (meh) season to get to the really good stuff.

@@OtakuDaiKun I mean I would get bored because of it's repeating and boring gameplay, but hardly get bored with the lore, art style and animation, I think it's one of those games that succeeds being an art piece or something really cool to look at but really frustrating or boring to play because of lack of variation and the hundreds of missions of the kind of go from A to B then come back, then go kill a monster go back. So I love Xenoblade from eveythink that is not the gameplay, I can look at how the maps are built for a lot of time. Well, you get it, it wasn't necessary to write a wall of text, sorry.
