Serious question and only answer if you know the facts: what makes the disc stay in the air longer, speed or spin? As in if two throw the same speed but one is spinning much more then does that disc stay in the air longer or does it just hold its line better? Asking for a friend

a lack of spin causes the physics of the disc to die off and the disc nosedives into the ground hard...without the proper rpm, it isnt going far.

The "domey-ness" of a disc is important too. Pop-top discs have more glide, where a flat to beat-in concave Zone or Harp have a lot less.

Think 99% of them are before. You can tell they are talking more about what they are going to do in the tournament rather than what just happened. Players are more willing to play before the tournament so they can get more reps on the course too
