Looks like you pulled the prop control instead of mixture idle cutoff at the end of your flight. Just sayin'.

I have them reversed on my rig as the Cirrus has no prop control and I don’t want to reach over a second, non-functional handle. On my rig blue is mixture, red is (non functional) prop.

@@OnTheGlideslope since we pilots rely on the shape and color of these controls in addition to the position it's probably a better idea to stick with the standard so your training supports the real world. Better to skip over the non-functioning control in my opinion.

I clearly understand your argument. I have a different view. The throttle quadrant on the Cirrus SR 20 that I fly in the real world has no prop lever as it’s a self-governing prop. It also is nothing like the TPM quadrant in my sim, so the idea of real world realism is already compromised. What I do know is that I don’t look at the throttle or mixture knobs when flying, I use them by feel (especially on final). So I expect the mixture to be next to the throttle by feel and that’s how I prefer my sim to work.

@@OnTheGlideslope I understand your thinking here. As long as you always fly the SR20 that sounds like the way to go. If you transition to other aircraft you may change your strategy at that point and "unlearn" the habits you've developed.
