This was my favorite season with them. Sure I loved season 4 because they started officially dating there, but they were engaged here. I just wish they were in the 7th season so we could have seen them be married and not just from one episode

Chad and Hilarie are a few of the greatest actors...it's a crime that these actors are not given a chance in big Hollywood movies and series...I know Chad was in Agent Carter and Sun Records...but I hope both of 'em get more and more good films...

"I remember when this first aired people were upset with Lucas and only seeing Peyton's side. It's not like either loved the baby less he was just completely petrified. Her too but she couldn't consider giving up the baby even if she lost her life. Meanwhile he is wondering how he can go on without her if she didn't make it. I saw BOTH sides they both wanted the baby so much, yes the look of almost betrayal when he mentioned her growing up without a mom and how it affected her. She couldn't trust anyone until Lucas. Now this baby would have a present dad but it is one of the real fears she has to not be there for her daughter just like he is fearing it. SO RAW, HONEST and emotionally draining. They acted the hell out of this whole story. Yes they had worked so long together but they really felt like a real married couple having to make the toughest decision possible. Lucas like he said is always saving her and he can't save her from his or have any control so he is out of his mind in fear. They both are in such pain. I loved how they communicated, ok argued but emotionally and with their fears. It showed how they can come together and find strength in each other and be hold each other up even in the worst/scariest of times. A real marriage/relationship with two people who know each other can only withstand this. I always shipped them because of their chemistry, connection and this really showcased how perfect they are for each other. It's too bad Brooke meddled with them earlier and the triangle from hell had to be contrived to continue for the first 4 years because these two as a couple was all the show needed." EVERYTHING killed me 1:50-54 her face his face This whole episode showed the love and connection between them. He brought up her fear of leaving a motherless child, she asked him to have faith like he wrote in his book. I understand where each of them were coming from. They have so much love. Lucas' worst fear is not being able to save her and he had to face that which is so hard for him. I thought each of their emotional arguments made a lot of sense. I think Peyton's worst fear was losing the baby and not being able to live to see her child. 3:46 is that really a pic of Chad/Hilarie from the naley wedding on the cabinet??? I love how Lucas already stacked the nursery with a 1000 books ;p I thought it was interesting they switched roles, one pulling for/believing in fate and other being more skeptical/scared. They were both scared of course but like he said he can't protect her from this or save her and that rocked his world.

Nah I think brooke being her besty she was more afraid that brooke would be broken if she died. Remember that immediately after tearing up about brooke, peyton joked about lucas having women flocking after him. Wasn't worried at all about being replaced.

Like everyone else who is a loyal fan to OTH, I don't understand how OTH will be any good with out one of the MAIN characters. I mean common, when this show first started it made it very clear that Luke was the leader and the top character of OTH, it started out with him and thats how the whole story begun. But now it won't have much meaning without Peyton and Lucas :( and that is really going to make OTH go down the drain really fast.

An intangible mass of cells (aka an embryo) is not a child. 2) She's willing to kill herself so her baby can live, which means she is depriving all the people in her life who love her of ever seeing her again. "Our story already has the greatest ending, because we're together." I loved this line too, as well as so many others in this storyline. And, when she is telling Lucas that he would never be alone, you can tell it was hard for her to say ".....and Brooke." Peyton is so brave and strong in these scenes, you got to lover her for that because she is falling too. But b/c Lucas is so scared, heartbroken, angry..... In a way she is being strong for them both. Hilarie and Chad are incredible actors.

The whole point of Lucas story was how he got the girl of his dreams which we both know wasn't Brooke or Lindsey Jake was always meant to be a temporary thing and I'm glad they kept it that way her chemistry with Lucas is leagues above more powerful then her chemistry with Jake.

@@nevermindmyname813 Nathan doesn't narrate at all so how was he and Haley the it couple? Lucas was the lead male of the story until after season 6 And Lucas himself even says "This is how the boy met the comet and it changed his whole life." Hinting at Peyton's car I doubt that was meant for how he met Brooke or Lindsey there's a reason why Peyton dates Jake first because first love interest never last. If you prefer Jake with Peyton that's cool and all but Peyton happiness with Luke looks more genuine then when she dated Jake.

I love Peyton’s character and how her character kind of grew. In the beginning she was kind of this sarcastic sadistic humor kind of person that was always involved in drama. But in the end she becomes the optimistic person and she’s always been so strong.

The best couple in TV land by far -lots of couples kiss in the rain and pledge their love a million times but with with Lucas and Peyton it just seems like they are another planet chemistry wise -when they laugh, fight, play and just are in the same room. They never never doubt their love for each other-it runs through the whole 6 seasons. People who think otherwise are delusional.

The emotions in this scene. You can tell Lucas’s heart is with the right girl because he wasn’t this emotional with any other girl not even Lindsey. He chose who his heart wanted and them two together amazing.

0:37 - 0:43 I dont think Chad Michael Murray was ever given great material to bring out the emotional aspects of Lucas. But he acted this scene brilliantly. The heartbreak in his voice and eyes knowing how hard the road back to Peyton was for Lucas. You feel all their history in this one scene.

Naley is my fav couple. Hands down. From season 1 to season 9, they are my favourite. With that being said, i loved season 6 mostly because of Leyton. Of course the last season they are in, the writers make their relationship respectable. The 5 seasons that came before were them cheating on Brooke and Lindsey & dealing with whatever emotional crap Peyton always had. Now they're stable its so much better, especially in this episode. One of my favs because you can really see that they are in love

Awe, I love this episode so much. It's so heartbreaking. It shows how much Lucas really loves her and exactly how much she means to him. The way he says, "I can't live without you..." just breaks my heart. All in all, it really shows his love for her.

i love peyton, she is amazing! and the leyton scenes of this episode are beautiful. we can really feel how much lucas loves peyton when he says he cant imagine his life without her. and even though she is also scared, peyton tries to stay positive and i just kept thinking to myself how much she has changed since the beginnig of the show. she has always been strong but the way she faces her challenges is different. this is actually one of my favorite moments of them. i really loved it
