After having eight action cameras I would agree the Inst360 X2 is my go-to camera now for hiking, biking, and motorcycling. I use my GoPro 9 with the new ModLens for small videos up close and grabbing snapshots for my screen savers on my house monitors. I missed so many great shots on my southwest adventures using my one-directional action cameras. I wish I had the insta360 years ago when hiking Bryce and Zion.

I’m late to this and would love to buy 1 for each of my college kids; however, they both have IOS (Apple) devices & I’ve heard that this camera is not great if you have Apple products. Is that correct, or not? This video actually impressed me and kept me interested in what the camera can actually do. A lot of other videos spec rants made my adult ADHD kick in and I got bored. Nice video! Next level 3rd person shot with the insta360 ONE X2 would be where both hands are clearly moving or doing something that's not holding the invisible stick. Like the shot from above on the one wheel👍. I guess a simple backpack + selfie stick could do it, but might be tricky to make look good. Just another spin of small ideas to try.

Really cool ideas! I love my insta 360 x2. But I hv to admit that, I can't get 5.3 k resolution when I reframe it. So use a traditional action cam whn you want footage with full resolution and use insta 360 for flexibility. Loving my gopro hero 10 and insta 360 duet for recording awesome footage!

Overall video quality and also Insta360 has incredible programs for editing your videos The stitch line is also way cleaner with the one x2 I could go on but those are the biggest reasons

Gopro max lens position design is garbage. The lenses are in different places which makes stitching worse in every cenario. Also you can't calibrate exposure from different lenses in post which sometimes leaves people with a very visible artifact. Also, if you do not like the way the image is stitched you cannot calibrate or adapt it in any way. Etc

I like the way you color grade your x2 videos. Do you use luts? What color settings do you use in post to achieve this look?

No I dount use luts. I use vivid mode in camera and then I sometimes I ajust the brightness and vividness in post. And that is about it. I will be posting a video in the next few days about how I get the best quality videos with the insta360 X2

It doesn’t need to be more K. Just a better sensor to have decent quality. I run, bike and swim a lot and use my iPhone on a tripod and put it to video. The. Later I choose a frame I like, screenshot that and have a very decent photo for Instagram. I bought an Insta360 one x2 but returned it because using the before mentioned procedure gives terrible images. Als shooting photo’s is not near as good in quality. Hoping for a one x3 with better sensor soon. Cause it is a very cool camera!

Yes you can take out the SD card to transfer the files but you will still have to use the Insta360 app or pc program to format the videos from 360 to regular videos
