Ive owned the x2 since 2021.. and still running well! X2 is good enough if ure using for social media content. I wld probably upgrade to d latest version unless my X2 finally dies on me. Otherwise, im happy with my X2!

X2 still the best I think because the improvement which I see in x3 & x4 doesn't make much difference. So I'll go with x2 with very budget friendly

I feel the X4 is a bit of a swizz in that it has the same lens as the X3. Had they done this instead to the RS 1" then that would have been impressive. Good video though, thanks, and the way you pronounce 'button' is adorable :)

I have both x3 and x4. It seems u have a diffusive X3. It aso sounds like u didn' have x2 and x3 mics in stereo but in wind noise reduction mode.

Same as X3. You want good low light, wait for the RS 1" 360 cam 8K coming later

My x2 is not bad at this. I have been making fail videos under a led spotlight at work and I can go about 50 ft from the camera before Im too dark for it to track me for that deep track thing. The camera can sometimes get hot after about 6 minutes and it turns off. They should have better heat dissipation using a metal chassis and heat paste on the chips inside for the price they cost.

just sold my x2 looking to get the x4 now my biggest gripe was the image quality not being high enough i think this should be fixed with the x4 what do you guys think or do we have to wait for the x5 with 10k

the x3 footage was cropped in in the clips, when i too a screenshot and compared the right size side by side, the x3 had more detail..... stilll loving these comaprisons

Ive used X2 and loved it until X3 had an invisible divecase. I feel like my videos with X2 regular dive case were a lot cleaner and sharper than x3 with invisible dive case. It seems like the X3 video is blur as if it's a part of a picture taken from touch focus phone where the camera isnt focusing.. now im seeing posts saying x4 also has bad result with dive case. I wish they could make invisible dive case for x2

Dont compare just buy as per your pocket.......it is the job of youtubers to compare and force people to believe latest is better.....but x2 is still good enough.....just remember when x2 came it was the best as per similar youtubers .....now how come suddenly its not good enough. There are millions of youtube videos shoot with x2 and they got good numbers of views. Just think of one thing do you really need those new features. How many are you going to use in real scenario.....All the best for your next purchase or upgrade.

I have the x2 and the tiny round screen is of no use. No use because I dont even care its there when Im taking video. I stick it on a tripod for selfies or just hold it up and snap the picture. I dont think I can miss the shot. I would have to be pretty incompetent if I actually ever did considering it photographs EVERYTHING. The screen is not a selling point. Get the lens guards though. They are so easy to clean off and they do need to be clean. Now what needs to vastly improve is the klunky basic software it comes with. You cant delete a portion of the clip and simply ripple delete it together. The in and out points are what you want to keep which doesnt work if you want to say .... clip out a portion where the action is just standing around waiting or getting ready to act, which is wasting time and filling up memory. You cant marry 2 clips together. You cant add a voice over in case youre using lapel mics to hear the star who is standing far from the camera and cant be heard by the onboard mics. You cant add music unless youre playing it next to the camera but that doesnt always line up with whats happenning such as adding sound effects if someone falls in a funny way. The only good thing I find is it turns the camera to look at the action in post or follow the action using the tracking function.

I just ordered my X3 (2nd hand) as that is what I can afford for now, but looking at this video, its a good step off from my (now dad) x2 🙂 I am curious if the clone loop will be better than the x2 for Capoeira 🙂

Yes, I saw an old lady in a public bus with a fold phone 😄 She wasn't operating it like a geek so most probably her child loves smartphone and she gets the previous model.

The X4 is a terrible camera, they're just doing a marketing gimmick by putting the 8K text on it. There is no HDR video shooting feature in 8K. Everyone compares cameras in standard profile mode, but if you compare in HDR profile, X3 dynamic range is better than X4.

Totally agreed 👍🏻 X4 can't shoot HDR videos in 8k 😂, X4 can't shoot 8k videos in night we have to downgrade to 5k for best quality, no one is comparing X3 ACTIVE HDR video with X4, i would say X3 Active HDR is definitely beat X4 in many scenes, so next time Compare X3 ACTIVE HDR with X4 8K

if you can guide me, should i go for x2, x3 ,x4 my main purposes are motovlogging and i do a lot of sports, hiking, skiing, rafting etc and something which i can use to take starlapses pretty well, which one would you recommend if don't want to spend too much on my first action cam

When people do stabilization comparison videos with GoPro and they show the GoPro bobbing around all over the place, I have to wonder if they are legit. I have all the latest cameras and the GoPro stabilization is the best of any of them.
