Kudos to the cellist/vocalist (couldn't find her name anywhere). She makes a great difference compared to all the other recordings of this song.

Oh I was in the dark age searching for the ones in my mind But I had hit the ground runnin. Steady as you go I don't mind. I'm still here today Spouting hymns and buzzing rhymes and forever talking when it aint so kind But it feels like forever on the run When your mind turns to fiction I had took the long way I was in the heat I don't mind. I'm so far away But it feels like forever on the run Nudging the ghost from the skull A night without sleep Vibration comes first to the head and last to the feet Spouting hymns and buzzing rhymes and forever talking when it aint so kind But it feels like forever on the run When your mind turns to fiction 4 years agoging the ghost from the skull A night without sleep Vibration comes first to the head and last to the feet Spouting hymns and buzzing rhymes and forever talking when it aint so kind But it feels like forever on the run When your mind turns to fiction ________________________________________________________________________

1:54 why is he smiling? that song is sad (and great)
@seamusmasonmccurley575410 жыл бұрын
He is playing an instrument that requires his body to move to beat (to keep rhythm). While doing so (for over a minute) he probably was acknowledging the fact (like I did; I smiled too) of how great the rest of the band is playing/sounding. Great performance

Totally agree. This music is the release of negative emotions. Its what you use to process them. So this should be a cathartic and fun experience in theory. I know when i play melancholy music with my friends sometimes i have to take a moment to smile and be grateful for the intense beauty that is unfolding around me

+damla bilen it could be that he noticed that the singer almost made a mistake at 1:50, he was starting what he should have started at 2:40. But I think he smiled also because of what Seamus and Benjamin said :)

Interesting point of view. Considering he’s the band leader and principal songwriter that creates a bit of a problem. How’s your singing career coming along?

And I take it you sing like Michael Buble? Give the guy a break!!!
@Swamp7210 ай бұрын
It’s rare to find a singer who sounds their best in a live performance like this anyway. Listen to their albums and you’ll hear his voice is fantastic.
