I grew up in Turkey under religious pressure until I was 18 years old. Then when I finished high school, I rebelled against my family and stepped into being the person I wanted to be. So this was the last amen for the newborn seeker. This song is so important for me

2012: I go to Radiohead in time to see the opening act. My wife and I were both like who tf are these guys? They are amazing. I was too far away to hear the name so I did some research online and found out it was Other Lives. I immediately became a fan. Their music has a powerful allure that I can't quite put my finger on. It transports you to another place somehow. Fast forward to 2015, and Rituals. I fell in love. Other Lives became one of my favorite bands. I went to see them at a small venue here in Phoenix and got to meet them (amazing). Then... they went away. I didn't think we'd ever see them again so I had to be grateful for what I was fortunate enough to experience during their (at the time) short existence in my universe. I kept up with them online and never gave up the glimmer of hope that they'd return. Then, they changed their Facebook logo and I knew something was happening. I'm so glad they are back, and I can't wait for the album, to see them live again, AND for them to be my daughter's first concert. So excited! Welcome back y'all, you were missed.

I've seen them live in Phoenix, Seattle, & Glendale opening for Radiohead. They don't disappoint, amazing shows. Can't wait until the corona crap is over, and get back to live concerts.
