Kenny Beats giving Pharrell, Chad, and Famlay their flowers while geeking out and fanning out together over hip hop + music + art is such a beautiful thing to see. I've watched this show for a while and being from VA and seeing Fam finally get loud public praise from an artist from my generation feels good. From "Available" to "Get that Work Up" and of course the bigger joints like Da Beeper Record and Rock n Roll -- he and the Neptunes made the soundtrack to some of my favorite moments growing up.

@HansyPants1842 жыл бұрын
Kenny has that ultra-honest, unfiltered view of life that really resonates the more you let it steep. Every time I hear him speak on anything I end up at least a little bit inspired or instrospective. Whether he knows it or not he's turning into the archetype for a generation of creatives to aspire to. Great discussion and great episode.
@asaiya7053 жыл бұрын
I think the biggest draw with Kenny is that he always stays very humble and consistent, He never puts him self above you, or makes you feel like you can't do something like he is doing. you are not gonna be Pharrell, TImbo or Kenny Beats, BUT you can be the very best version of yourself and that will carry you so far. props to a great interview. shout out all kenny beats gang out there. love yall

@@xahmah you will never be Pharrell, Timbo or Kenny because, quite literally, you are you. You can aspire to be like them in character, but if are living your life to strictly be like any one person then you won’t get anywhere. Only by focusing on you and becoming the best you will you be capable of reaching the same height as these guys.
