Hi, In the movie, the boy has gone on a fishing adventure with his grandfather. The truck has broken down and the two become separated. It's important to know that the boy's mother has died. The boy wanders around until exhaustion sets in. He falls asleep on the ice and is on his way to freezing to death. The Spirit of the Lake finds him. She awakens him and forces him to get moving. She pushes him to the safety of his grandfather. Along this way, the Spirit counsels him toward overcoming his grief and to finding love within himself.

my take is that a large deep lake with clear water is a metaphor for the human soul. "Baikal" is inside every person, I believe. Main message of the song: if only a person can believe in himself and find the strength for love in the depths of his soul, he will overcome any external adversity. Diana's role r is the voice of the Soul, as I understand it. I read that in this film she has two roles: the voice of the dead mother of this boy and the spirit of Baikal. In this scene the boy is lost, falls asleep in the cold and may die, and the spirits of his ancestors and the spirits of nature awaken in him, force him to wake up and lead him to the shore (where he meets people). Overall, this should be a family adventure film.

Others have told you about what is happening in the video, as for the lyrics themselves, they talk about overcoming grief and continue on with life by realizing that those who left us are really always living with us so we should not be stuck lost in the past and sadness but continue on bravely and on allowing their memories to be our strength and not our downfall. Powerful message, as powerful as her voice or presence Diana is on her element here and no one can do it better than her, one of if not her best work ever in my personal opinion, i can not find a single flaw.
