I know I'm calling myself out here, but granted at the age of 5 playing this game, this song brings me back to the night I was playing this battle. All we had to do was go back to the house after fighting our way to the meteor. I love how the game devs suckered us into a false sense of security being only yards from our house. If I remember correctly this thing comes down like a bolt of lightning with a widening beam of light from the sky. The otherwordly sound at the beginning majorly hinting at something that wants everything to do with you and you just don't know what, shortly thereafter drawn out bass and chip-step laying out the mood and gravity of the fight. The amount of damage/spell casting conveying the serious skill gap between BuzzBuzz/StarmanJr and the rest of the party does an excellent job of making the player feel well out of their league at this point. Although I have opinions on a couple of small things in this remix, the remix itself is head-and-shoulders above a lot of the others and has breathed refreshing new life into a classic. Well Done.
