Nice elevators, but I wonder why they would go with slow elevators for 69 floors. For a place with 69 floors, I was expecting these elevators to be rocket fast (around 1600, 1800, or even 2000 FPM).

Caesars Palace floor Numbering is so different. I believe this should be slow for just a 20-story traction elevator.

Yes, Las Vegas has some of the most unusual floor numbering methods for their high rise buildings.

***** For the right numbering, you have to subtract 48 from the floor. Even crazier, it goes strait from 1 to 72 in the Nobu hotel.They could do 5-digit numbering.

They keep renaming and renovating... I think the original 1969 bldg. is now the Nobu. All the bldgs. pre-1990 had Haughton elevators originally. From my 16th birthday until I turned 21, all I did in Vegas on vacations was either bowl at the Showboat or drive around and ride and photograph all those elevators. I hate the fact all that material was lost in the fire. Anyway, kinda funny you found those noises on the "69th floor" of all places... just sayin'...

Floor 50 is actually floor 2 by the way. The elevator skipped from casino to 50 in just two or three seconds.
