This was released on DVD, but a differently edited version was shown on BBC2. Sean Lock and Bill Bailey appear here, their bits were cut from the DVD.

I taped this to VHS at broadcast and watched it dozens of times. Nice to see it again, strong nostalgia. Sean Lock :(

I’ve watched his Hell No I Ain’t Happy DVD about a hundred times. The Otis part is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. The musics great too. If you ain’t read the book then that’s great too👍

I remember watching this when it first came out and was shown in the U.K. I still have the VCR recording somewhere, Rich Hall has a sense of Humour very similar to the English sense of Humour n Sarcasm

Fun story: I saw Rich Hall/Otis on tour, and he did the same improvised 'Big Bad Dennis' routine (32:40), except I would have been 'Big Bad Nick'. He picked me at the front, but as I was an unemployed student, he didn't have anything to work with. He did however throw a tantrum when I said that I studied music ("HOW AM I DOING, NICK?!") and told him that I had performed on the same stage the week before ("HOW THE FUCK DO YOU THINK THAT MAKES ME FEEL?!"). He moved onto my friend Dan, who didn't want the attention, and tried to say that he was just the same as me. I interrupted, and told the truth that he actually worked at the chicken counter at Morrisons. That was enough for Rich, and he became 'Big Bad Dan', who saved a town from an avalanche of poultry.

Pretty much wrong arena, but I feel you. I loved Sean as well, but most of this is not about him...

@olenilsen4660 i beg to differ i bought the video and cd combo for the show and it didnt have sean's performance on it this is the first ive see of sean popping up in other comerians recordings since he was wearing a mask and being chased by newman and baddeil in a stadium show... happy days when comedians first played venues like rock stars...

Check out his stand-up comedy, appearances on TV shows such as Johnny Carson's, BBC documentaries, Fishing Shows with Mike Wilmot. Rich Hall... a true treasure.

I caught this by accident when It was on and been hunting for it ever since. Have the DVD buy it cut Sean Lock, probably due to the litigious Cash Estate

I made an Audio copy of my Bosses DVD from the original UK release. I edited and still listen to the songs to this day. I know it verbatim and have quoted from it a dozens of times. "When a woman walks into a room and 'says......

Got the DVD of this show but it doesn't have Bill Bailey or Sean Locke appearing on it. That said it has loads of other songs on it. Recommended if you can find it.

Rich Hall is the most intelligent, funny, sharpest Yank ever to reach the UK. Can somebody put his standup back up on KZbin. BTW if you were Muslim you would be allowed to wail five times a day!

What year was this from? I didn't realize he knew Sean Lock and Bill Bailey that long although I heard he did marry Alan Davies ex wife. I did not realize that they were all friends for that long.
