Otis Series 2 Traction Elevators at O&M Eller Building, Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.

Filmed in June/July 2017 (can't remember the exact date): I LOVE the different door configuration on the service elevator!!! :D I am gonna try to get a take on the service elevator again when I go there in couple of days! Also, Happy St. Patrick's Day as well! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than uploading this. Yes, it's modernized, but the green lights on the buttons & floor indicator retrofits the color of today! :D Installed in 1971, modernized in 2005.

Hey jim! The elevators are pretty good. The indicators inside are pretty interesting. You could still see the old Otis nameplate. The freight elevator is serving in the same way like the passenger ones only for going up to 12 but you can go to basement.

Because this was modernized between 1990 and 2013, this is Series 2, so you’re right. M2 is post 2013.

Do you know how you knew that Series M2 was started in 2013? Link to prove?

Unfortunately I do not have a link, but I recall seeing something that said it came out at the same time as newer Series 2, newer Series 4, and HydroFit.

But in that case, do you know how you knew that Series M2 came in 2013 after the newer Otis fixtures? I actually think that the new Otis fixtures came in like late 2012.
