I usually listen to your narrations to fall asleep. But during this story I had to stop halfway in, turn on the lights and watch other videos for a good while. I have hardly ever felt so creeped out by something.

most stories uploaded here are for the most part uninteresting at best, let alone scary stories. But every now and then an uncut Gem! like this story gets through. The story is great on it's own. But your delivery and impeccable! inflection truly makes it what it is. A perfect example is my favorite! "The Showers" Thank you for all your hard work! Keep it up Otis...!

Ok master Jiry This one had me on the edge of terror from beginning to end and the visions in my minds eye were atrocious and horrifying! I had to get up and put on every single night light in my bedroom which gave me enough ambient lighting to feel less terrified but not enough for anything to be able to zone in on me from outside 😱😫 Now that’s storytelling!!! Holy crap !! Thanks 😊

well written, and well read, this had me going for a good while, and listening to this as a graveyard shift security officer on a wooded hillside property put soo many goosebumps into me during my patrol, I was afraid I was going to burst out in feathers...

Ive come to figure out. People who have to make sure are in fact very afraid. However also very courageous. The ability to go towards the scary stuff, hopefully finding nothing but still cautious. Still being prepper enough to know that you don't know but don't want to lose to fear. There's gotta be evolutionary reasons for these people. I'm curious about things but definitely gonna nope out before getting too close 😅

Another frightener of a story, courtesy of the great Otis Jiry!!!! Btw, Otis sounds nothing like Morgan Freeman. Otis sounds more like the great Burl Ives to me!!!!👍🏽👩🏾🙂

Why creepypastas? Aren’t those meant for teens to share online and claim they are real? Why not other stories?
@OtisJiryReads4 жыл бұрын
"Creepypasta" as a term is essentially synonymous with "short horror fiction" at this point, Dave.

Otis Jiry's Horror Storytime - Creepypasta Crypt thanks for clarifying. I had only ever heard about them from my little brother and his friends talking about them, so I figured it was something for younger people and stood apart from short story horror
