Hey Phly, as a former M3A3 CFV bradley driver, it could hold another 4 TOW2's behind the 2 dismounts in the back. The 25mm ammo was usually stored under the floor (behind the fuel tank), and the TOW has a spool of wire that trails it (Wire Guided). You have to be stationary to fire it so the wire doesnt snag on obstacles and destroy the connection to the missle. irl You could have the laucher up in combat position even while moving. The ass optics were so the dismounts could see before dropping ramp. My dad and i Love the videos, keep up the good work.

@@Sniperahead ya the pivot could break. I was mainly talking about moving under 20mph if u were advancing or relocating during gunnery or in combat if u were going to be stopping to fire. If u were traveling crosscountry at speed u would fold it away.

T-72 was just cheaper, less complex tank to build a version of the T-64. Armor and capabilities were inferior to the T-64 in exchange for more T-72s to be built overall. Also the T-72 had a much more reliable engine.

C1 Ariete was introduced into service in 2001 and the type 90 is still the Japanese mbt for today so it's really crazy how they add vehicles that still in service. I work with Bradley’s as a scout in the army and this Bradley isn’t exactly correct it does only carry an extra 6 tows and 2 at the ready. It can only carry 230 HE 20mm and 70 AP 20mm but can carry on extra 150 of what ever ammo you want. The ammo is also in the wrong spot

the Bradley does really good while firing on the move. The M2A2 has additional TOWS in place of dismounts. Ammo storage for the COAX and 25MM are everywhere in the hull. Under the floorboards there is almost 1000 rds of additional ammo in the ready boxes.

It's all Syrian Regime propaganda but still very informative. The cities are sooo destroyed, the bricks of the walls are crushed into so fine sand, when the tank shoots along a street the dust lifts it self several meters into the air along the whole range and you can see no further than the length of tank. Also there is still the such things as the lone civilian car speeding the motorway...while the soldiers are under siege in the city right next to it... War Thunder totally lacks such effects.

The reason the TOW Rack isnt up when moving is because its heavy and only supported by a hydraulic arm so bouncing around on terrain would break it off... but doctrine is to have it up when stationary or in a defensive posture. (comming from a bradley crew guy... i was a driver then a gunner lol)

3:14-or-so: The reason the TOW box closes prior to movement is because they've got a qualified crew! I kid. No, the TOW box drops because Bradley TOWs only fire from stationary; otherwise, the bouncing and vibrations from the deployed launcher throw off the integrated sight unit's calibration. There's an internal cut-off relay to prevent TOW use if the Brad moves without securing the launcher for travel. \prior-service Bradley gunner here \\yes I am unloading in my pants right now \\\slashies

Also, once those two TOWs are gone, it takes for-flippin-ever to reload them. See those two guys in the back? Yeah, that's pretty much their whole job right there. Turret's got to traverse to thus-and-such mils, cannon elevated to exty degrees, and *then*, the top hatch pops open, and Joe dumps the first spent tube, gets a fresh round, pushes and locks it into place, and does it all again for the next one, all while possibly receiving fire.

Former Bradley Gunner here: M2 Bradley which is the troop carrier, carried 6 TOW Missiles, two in tube, four in hull. M3 Bradley was the Cavalry/Scout variant, carried 12 missiles, two in the tube, ten in the hull.

The Bradley does that because when it needs to reload the turret needs to turn to a certain degree in mil's so the crew can pop out of the rear hatch to load more TOW's in. Speaking from personal experience, was a Bradley commander for 6 years.

Hey Phly, I'm a war historian at my museum and I know some things about the Bradley. The M3 Bradley can carry 12 ATGMs, specifically the TOW II. However, carrying twelve missiles severely limits troop capacity and other supplies for long range expeditions. As such the Bradley usually only carries 2 in the tube and 4 in the ammo storage on each side of the troop benches.

So with the Bradley, the launcher box on the side of the turret has a kind of weak holding mechanism that would likely break if you were to hit a bump while moving at any speed. So it has to be stowed to avoid risk of damage to it while moving at any decent speed.

Hey Phly, Armored Warfare introduced us to the OF-40 already long ago. It is basically a prototype at up-armoring a Leopard 1, prior to the full-scale development of the Leopard 2. I hope it's as fun here as it is there!
