Here's what doesn't make any sense at all. How could these guys NOT have known that Lou did the same thing to Backstreet Boys and NSYNC that he's doing to them as shown in this video? Why was everyone acting so oblivious?

Lance Bass warned them. Lance stated in an interview that he was friends with Paul Martin. He told the contenders (while they were in NY) about the lawsuit Nsync had against Pearlman. But Lance noted that he understood why the group didn't listen to him because they were gonna be famous and the next new boy band. So, they knew but didn't listen to Lance or the multiple red flags.

He did go to prison. He had a ponzy scheme going on too. Stole millions from retirement funds that belonged to seniors. The FBI was already on his ass over that alone. He was found hiding out in a different country. He went to prison for that, but I'm pretty sure that they were nailing him for this crime he did to these guys too.

I feel for them. Its hard because they were aware Lou had shitty contracts. But this was 2000 so the internet was not like how it was today so imcsure they didnt know everything. But also, lou is the person who picked them out of obscurity and the only one who wil lchange their lives. They were nobodies and this is the only opportunity to be signed as they are a group. So what are you going to do? Not sign bc its a shitty contract that must people who start out in the industry get? Or decline and then live your dreams. Its a really hard choice as again they have to work as a group. They arent sble to make it as a solo artist so they also need eachother. Its not loke they can go to other labels or have offere from other labels since Lou is the one who can put them together. I believe Lou is an executive producer on this so im sure he doesnt want all his laundry out to the public on this show nor have the put him in a bad light. I was like in 6th or 7th grade and Nsync/BSB suing him was all over the news so they had to address that in this show, im sure.
