I just need to recount some history here. It's the year 2000. Boy bands are all the rage. Every single teenage boy on the planet wants to sing and look good. Every single teen and tween girl will beg their parents for every dime they're worth to go to concerts, buy merch, albums you name it. In this world of pure hunger and talent, the MTV television series Making the Band (with what I assume is one of the fattest budgets in reality TV history) puts on auditions. On the Wikipedia page, it's said that "Lou Pearlman, the man responsible for the formation of the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC, embarked on a nationwide talent search." This lasts for one year, where candidates are cut down to 25, then 8, and finally the final five. ... This is the five we got.

Reminiscent of late 90's early 2000's TV shows. Watched every episode of Making the Band but cannot remember any of their names. 🤔 Ugh...I'm old!

I wasnt a huge fan of O-Town(BSB/NSYNC girl) but this video is just classic LOL! The video reminds me of Busta Rhymes "Whats It Gunna Be". I was a senior in HS when this debuted and I thought it was so cheesy. Now I can appreciate it and i actually met Jacob and Trevor after MixTape festival in Hershey this year! Nice guys :-)

Backstreet Boys and N'Sync wouldn't sing songs about making themselves leaking semen or anything associate with sex and drugs. O-Town is like a boyband version of Nickelback.
