To me one of the biggest issues I have is that some fans have decided that Jey Uso is only a mid card guy. As if he has no potential to be a main draw. They act less like fans and act like they can run a show and that they know what’s best for everybody. Even worse I’ve seen some comments saying that people who back for Jey Uso are sheep. Like how rude do you have to be to tell people that if you like a wrestler and support them, you know like what a fan does, your sheep. We are fans not show runners, and while it’s possible to predict shows and patterns if you have watched long enough, to claim that a wrestler isn’t “ready” or they are just mid card is just arrogance. We will never 100 percent know what someone has gone through and for people to dismiss Jey to this level is beyond wild to me.

@ Respectfully I’m gonna disagree. Yes is Jey having more fun now, of course. Now he is free from the stress of the bloodline. And Jey hasn’t really lost that edge. When he won the IC belt he was all business and in the promos to come I’m sure he will show that if not more with this story. Let’s remember that before he had that iconic match with Cena at summerslam, which was the start of his journey to win at WM 30, Daniel Bryan was in team hell no doing funny skits with Kane and still having a solid title run. To me this really isn’t any different. Yes he will yeet with the crowd but it’s all serious when he needs to be. I’m gonna wait till all of this is over before I give my opinion on it and just enjoy Jey’s journey!

Without that hes not a majn eventer to me. Because events like that carry your abilities to greater heights. Jey is not an exceptional promo, but when he has events like the ones with the bloodlines it elevates him. Like it elevated Sami. Working with a workrate guy like Gunther at mania wont do that. And having a world title at mania the last year of Cena and one of Punks last years seems to be a misuse of Punk and Cenas time

@ First off I appreciate that you said that Jey isn’t a main event guy to you personally. Second yes I agree that programs with authority and bloodline were great, however to say that without it that he can’t be main event material is to me false. It showed that he could be taken seriously and has that potential to do that anyone. He can’t just fued with Roman and the bloodline forever. With that work and the matches he has had with Roman and Bron, he has shown that he has the potential and should be given a chance and the fact that people aren’t willing to do that much is absurd to me. In reguards to Cena and punk. This is Cena’s last year so if they were going to give him the 17, which I also want to see at this point, it would be cooler if it was his last match. As for punk, while I’m more on Seth Rollins side, I do recognize that he is a great talent. However I’m not mad that WWE went with a guy that, in my opinion, put more work in and has more years in him than punk. Back then people would complain that WWE doesn’t build new stars and for the first time in a while Jey could be that star for this era or at least one of them. I do hope punk gets his moment at mania but I’m not mad that the royal rumble has potentially made a new draw. Punk is a fan favorite on the internet so I think there is a bias that some may not want to admit. It’s all about building new stars, until it’s my favorite, then it should be them no matter what. That is the vibe I get from some people online that say it should have been punk.

The reason why I think both Rumble winners were terrible booking decisions is Jey, while a good worker. After the entrance, that's all she wrote. Jey's talented. He has the fans behind him. But after the entrance and the yeeting is done, it's over. Matches are forgettable or boring. He choke's when it counts. Flash in the pan indeed. Once again Charlotte proves that she cannot exist without winning the world title. I thought these vignettes were proving that Charlotte was finally getting a character beyond the world title. There’s absolutely zero chance that Jey Uso main events either night of WM. He will have a world title match against Gunther on either Night 1 or Night 2 in the middle of the card, and that’s it. Nothing to do with Jey Uso. But I’m not like all these geeks on here that actually watch the shows. I’m just here to see The Rock. So since it don’t look like The Rock will be participating in this years mania… I really don’t care to watch a Gunther feud with Jey USO, or anything John Cena related. Whatever happens with Roman I’ll watch it. I don’t think Roman and Rollins should be feuding this year it just feels like a bandaid for The Rocks absence. And they’re probably gonna add in CM Punk. CM Punk should be in something different but I have no idea. But I think there’s so many potential storyline that can alternate in anyway. It’s by design with HHH booking style. Keeping everything connected but also separate at the same time. Leaves the door open to take any pivot or direction if the moment calls for it. Too many potential main event matches that can all main event a mania just how and who do you have do it at this moment. The problem with HHH making everyone feel like a big deal and feel like a true “main event” player. Who do you have actually main event and make sense while the others ride the undercard. I’ve always said rumble needed a surprise winner because its always fairly obvious who is going to win, so they’ve never had that ‘anyone can win the royal rumble moment (that they should’ve done with santino) Yes he wouldn’t have been my choice but if you’re running a business, they amount of merch they are gonna sell and the scene at mania with his entrance is going to be something that people go ‘I want to be a part of that’ moment. No, no it wasn't fine for Jey Uso to win the rumble. You guys can't complain about Charlotte being a nepo baby but then assume the position to kiss Jey Usos' ass when he LITERALLY benefits from nepotism the hardest here and has done absolutely NOTHING to get that victory. And there's this counterargument out there about it's because he's "black" that people are upset; no, it isn't because he's "Black," which, he isn't even black. As long as Jey challenges Gunther, I'm okay with it. Even thought, he just beat Jey clean a few weeks ago. I'm sure they'll add some stipulation to it. I'm team "get the belt off Cody asap." Cena to me has the best chance of doing that. They want to put their 47-year-old headliner in the year in the Elimination Chamber...that's fine. Personally, I have Cena win the Rumble and Jey win the Chamber. Now there are also all these rumors about a three way, between Punk, Rollins and Reigns at WM without even a belt on the line.
