It stands on the 4+ Parry shield that you actually CAN have a magical weapon, or a lance or anything as long as it doesn't take two hands.

Yeah the text at the end of the shield states he gets the parry even with a magic weapon

Malorian if you read the in brackets bit at the bottom of the item which gives the parry, it says that you can use it with a magic weapon lol

The Queen can get spells from all 3 lores, not just from 2. It says "2 or more".

Maybe we're all wrong and there is no 4+ parry shield haha, im more concerned about whether you can get the parry while mounted or not and while using a lance

Malorian, you know how you said in the review that the new elves have a two plus ward against magic weapons, well what the hell can people do with say skaven that almost every weapon is magic, I guess some armies will be next to useless against them until their book comes out, then you have to pray they don't do silly stuff to it like they did with deamons. A unit with that banner or what ever will be untouchable to 50% of army and ethereal on some aswell, hell pit is done.

So now Skaven players expecting to see HElves should just not take the spikes. Same as with every upgrade you can take. you need to take into account what you're likely to see.

I was hopeing for mosters cav.... like WL on warlions had been cool... it seemed that was the way GW was going.. so far all other 8 edit books have mosters cav... owell cant have it all i guess :)

Naw Skaven are fine still. HPA is fine as long as you dont give him warpstone spikes. Doomrocket still destroys HE's and is quite accurate. Whatever unit has that banner would eat my Plague Monks with the plague banner after i hit it with the 13th once or twice. Demolished.
