I 100% agree that preference and individual style is variable in all things slingshot, and never sweat the small stuff! The fact that you recognize this and do not say it is "my way or the highway" is one of the reasons why I am a loyal Simpleshot customer. The other is that your products allow for this customization to preference...the fact that you sell pre-cut bands, pouches, and completely assembled band sets is a great example of this practice. Continue doing what you are doing guys, love the way you operate.

I love that you approach this stuff as "this is what works for me" since you happen to be one of the best shooters on out continent I will at the very least listen to your advice. Frankly as the slingshot you have used to the greatest effect is the model I favor the most I give your opinion high value. I have probably 40 in my collection but your design still hits best for me. Ok .. done telling how awesome your stuff is. Keep putting these out. I am always pointing new shooters to your channel and recommending the Simple Shot slingshots as a true introduction to the sport rather than the junk sold at the big box stores. If we could get your stuff into WalMart... well that would break everything.

i just got my Axiom Ocularis today. can't wait till i get my ammo and safety glasses. the sad thing is the new law in b.c Canada, where shooting a slingshot is not allowed in backyards anymore. got to find a place to practice...

commercial slingshots are prohibited here so while shooting homemades is technically legal afaik, backyard shooting is a bit dicey. worst part is i cant buy any of the fancy simpleshot slings :(

The twist goes all the way to the forks? Do i need to cut them?

Just make certain the twist make a 'V' and you are ready to shoot.

This has be bothering me a lot. Why dont they tie bands with a twist so that the bands are straight when im looking down them? Soooooo annoying. I thought maybe there were different bands you could buy to slove this but you say let it go so im away to build a snowman.
