Been there several times. Saw the light all but one time. Every time I went up something would happen to the radio or the dashboard/cluster The entire car lost power one time and wouldn't start back up for 10 minutes or so... that would have been the last time I went. That was too much for me being stuck in the pitch black. It's an unbelievable experience and you (or atleast I) felt an eerie energy in the air every time I went. Definitely recommend for people interested in this sort of thing.

i live about 30 mins away from buck hill been through there late at night many times never seen anything but i can tell you that part of the county has a very very creepy vibe even in the middle of the day on simpson pit road you can feel that something is not right.

I drive from Ottawa up to Barry’s Bay at least a couple of times each summer. I’m way too freaked out to go to Buck Hill Rd even in the daytime. Have also avoided Simpson Pit Rd.

I'm going to check this out. But the whole "everyone knows the story and someone who has experienced something there", I've lived in Ottawa my whole life and never heard this story until right now. My wife is the same

We had a legend like this in the town I was born in it was called lanterns lane and kind of similar premise.. Farmers ghost is carrying a lantern and changes colors depending on your fate in life🤷🏻‍♂️
