In this part 2 we show the second Elimination day and the Knockout round. These were 2 very different days of fishing for me even though they were back to back days. I was very shocked and made a big adjustment on the KO day to try to make the Championship round. I gave it my all!

I've got to do some more exploring on Watts Bar.....we've had several kayak tournaments down there I just can't seem to figure that lake out yet!! I've done decent a time or two...found a 5 pounder earlier this year but that was the best day I've had!!!

Just in case you hadn't heard TN Eastman at Kingsport had a release of an "Oily Substance " into the Holston earlier today 7/22 Friday. No extra info yet about fish kill or danger to public. Stay safe.

@@OttDeFoeFishing Actually now the releases were ethylene glycol , hydraulic fluid & fire retardant foam - even though there was supposedly no fire. Possibly 600 gallons total but no issues according to reports. So Far!! If your fried bluegill taste like antifreeze don't be surprised. Lol. I worry about long term effects. Same issue happened last yr. 😥

There is a growing population of Coosa or AL spotted bass in there now. They readily spawn with small mouth and this creates the mean mouths. Only problem is they displace the small mouth over time. They have completely eradicated them in other lakes. No sure if it will happen here but it has most places.

@@OttDeFoeFishing I caught a few about a half mile up the Nolichucky off the north end of Douglas. I will get some video this week or next. I went there to get some video last Thursday but the water turned to chocolate milk from the heavy rain. There is a hole up there with smallmouth and spotted bass together. I caught all the meanmouth flipping.
