I want to tell you my brother said 5 words at 5. He is still quiet but when he wants to talk he will give you a long list of things he wants at 28. He is working and is super adventurous. He just planned a birthday vacation and it looks so beautiful. I hope to encourage you that Jacob will be there.

You remind me so much of myself when my son was Jacob's age. So sleep deprived that it is heaven to get a full night's sleep. My son also liked going to school and now is so bored at home and won't go out, so has started throwing things. I think Jacob is doing well. My son had a huge vocabularly from all the time I spent with picture books and flash cards, and can learn to say words and describe objects to this day, but never will be conversational. Yes, my son was a runner also. Once escaped and went swimming in a sewer pond! Always seeking water sensory input. You are doing a grand job. Just take care of yourself as best as you can.

I love your videos and i send lots of love to you for being such an amazing and gorgeous mother and also to your precious little Jazzy and to sweet little Jacob ❤️❤️❤️ i have a question…..what do you suggest or advise when i take my little toddler out to the park or generally anywhere, and he constantly runs off all the time? He is level 1 On the Autism Spectrum and i am worried about him always running off, he stopped for a few months, but he is going to be 3 in February and for some reason the “running off” has started all over again……

Meant to tell you that the way I got one trip in on a plane was to take his favorite respite worker when he was five and he listened to music with his headphones and CD player the entire way and back. Last time we went. As he got older, his fears increased and only one teacher could get him on a train once. I know it will never happen again. If you can, try one of the airlines that allows days for special needs children to get on planes without flying. I wish I had been able to do that.
