I am Nigerian. I wanted Ghana to qualify so we could banter with Ghana at the AFCON. I think Ghanaians should take it easy with Otto. At least for his mental health's sake. The journalists were not fair to him with some of the questions😢😢😢I understand the frustration but the journalists went overboard with the questions. This is a fellow man with the same dignity as you. 😢😢 Now how about the players? Won’t they take some responsibility? African football is peculiar. SOMETIMES not always. I repeat sometimes, tactics don’t walk. A coach’s experience might be immaterial. Rather what works is resilience and determination from the PLAYERS to score. Nigeria has a lot of good players but we haven’t won AFCON since 2013. But we have had a couple of good coaches but African football has its peculiarity. African football doesn't respect big-name players and tactics. Sometimes, officiating might be poor, it could be the poor pitch quality, or even an interplay of multiple complex factors. The good news is that AFCON is every two years, unlike the World Cup. Good luck to Ghana next time. One Love ❤

Okay I’m a South African, I watched this because I wanted to laugh and all bantering, I know, I love Ghana so much and I wish to visit there one day, but guys, this is not good for the coach, I felt so sad after the last comment by the journalist saying he should go back to scouting than being a coach after all the sacrifices he has made in his life for Ghana as a player and a coach. He has achieved a lot in his life, he sacrificed his life for the beautiful country of Ghana, he torn his ACL while playing for Ghana, that ACL ended his career, but rather than retiring and staying at home nursing his ACL, he wanted to come back and help the black stars to do well and he did well in the FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 in Qatar by reaching the knockout stages I think. NO COACH WANTS TO LOSE. He is unfortunate that things are not going well for him right now as a Black Stars coach, the coach is crying at the end of this video because of the comment made by the journalist, I understand Ghanaians are hurting but life is important than football, things must not be taken person, the teams he played against were just better than his team, that’s all. He must seek for therapy and counselling, this is not good for his mental health, especially the comment made by the journalist at the end. I wish him all the best for their World Cup qualifiers next year, now back to banter, I’m very happy as a South African that Ghana is suffering for what their FA said about South Africa in 2021 in their open letter, y’all must SAFA!! 🇿🇦🤝🇬🇭

I feel his language barrier sometimes affects the message he wants to send across. His use of the word “resign” was in the context he used it, to say he doesn’t give up and that fights till the end. He used his life in Germany and his rise through the ranks to get to the top of his career as an example. So it’s that he’s been asked to resign by his employers and he “refused” to resign. Let’s be factual. Criticize him for his bad results, his performance etc but don’t misrepresent.
