He is class but I am City fan performance like this in the last 8matches is a disgrace I don't care about injuries or bla bla every team has injuries & crisis this is way too much 4 team that won so many titles over the last decade &UCL last year Peps biggest mistake is to many experiments with formations wrong player lineups starting it's just bad.
@williamwheatley18523 сағат бұрын
Its so strange watching these, pep is not use to these situations and you can tell, he outright said 'I'm not good enough' if that was any other manager at another team those words would have been the nails in the coffin, but pep is comfortable in his positions, he doesn't feel like he has to fight for his job like managers at lower teams who are more use to this situation. He has the ability to be open and honest right now because of his previous successes.

When you and your team won everything, is hard to give the same motivation as the 1st, or 2nd time, they've been in the top for like 5 years, won everything as a club, Guardiola needs a new team, and City need new players, which come with that desire of winning because they've never won before, i think this is the current state of City honestly, every big team that wins alot will eventually lead to this.

I never thought I`d say this, but maybe he needs a break, and this is 0% criticism. It`s just one of those things that happens to everyone. Anyone that works in stressful and demanding jobs witnesses burn out and nobody is immune. There is also the consideration of the serotonin cycle, when you have success the serotonin flows, but you can`t stay on that high forever, it´s like a drug addiction, then when the success stops you go into a negative cycle, in both the upwards and downwards directions these are feedback mechanisms that accelerate in either direction. There could be an exception to that, Psychopaths, but I think they play in the right way, won in the right way and now are losing while still playing attractive football, no shame in that, enjoy it and the cycle will reverse soon. They just need to smile and keep their cool.

The question is: What is the situation? What is the task? The task is: Find the root of bad results. He said it: it is not normal: They should have won some games by "accident" at least. Players don't turn into bad players all of a sudden. The manager does not turn into a bad manager from one month to the next. Also, opponents won't find the magic tactics against City. One or two, but that many? He has to find the cure. Is it certain players, or tactics? Is it confidence or all of that combined? Is it something that was on the horizon for a long time or is it something new, something that might go away next month or a problem that has to be solved? People now expect him to deliver the answer. But that might not be necessary. He "just" has to create the environment for improvement. Maybe an external view gives a fresh idea, or players will solve the problem themselves when he creates the right environment. A football team is not a one man job. Yes, the manager is in charge. But there are players that lead the team, a coaching staff, analysts, medics. They all have to find ways to deliver their part in solving this crisis. I mean, we all experience a task that is very difficult. A task, we might think, we won't be able to complete. But that does not mean we are the wrong person for this task. It just means: We have to work, we have to raise our game maybe, we have to believe in ourselves. If they change the manager and City wins the next game, Guardiola might have won that game too. Either way, there is no guarantee.

Am a Manchester United supporter through and through and have stuck with them since the mid 1970s and in that time United have had their ups and downs. Yes Sir Alex Ferguson was a great manager of Manchester United and there was also others as well before he became the manager. Sir Matt busby, David Sexton and Ron Akinson. United have had some great players not just Denis law, Brain Kidd, Bobby Charlton and George Best and i could name more than than a few more. Pep is up there with the great managers and has brought much success to Manchester City and i respect him for that. Over the years in regards great players at City there have been the likes of Colin Bell, Mike summerbee. United have had a down decline in recent years and at present City are going through a difficult patch. United are not back to their best yet and under the new manager hopefully they will get better. as for Manchester City they still have a great football Manager and a good team squard.❤️💙

It's quite clear that the Rodri injury has messed them up good and proper, however I do think that if it were that simple, you could substitute someone in and get results. It would be easy for city to spunk 80m.on Zubimendi in January, but I'm not sure it's that simple. He has a core of individuals that he works hard but it appears that a cycle of a great side is ending. Guardiola works incredibly hard and he needs a rest. He will come again. The City side needs revamping. The skill is to revitalise a side whilst still.getting top results. That is a skill set very few have. Anyone seriously thinking Guardiola's job is at risk is in fantasy land. This guy will work 100 hour weeks for as long as it takes to get city back.

I've always considered Pep to be the GOAT Manager ever since his era as the Barcelona manager over a decade ago. I still think he is the best regardless of how terrible this season has been thus far for City. I think Pep should not have renewed his contract at City. He should have taken a break or sabbatical to recharge. Then if he wants, he could have returned as City manager maybe two years after his sabbatical . If I was Pep, I'd have left the club last season. He has already won so much in England. But if he chose to renew his contract, it means that he has been assured that City will rebuild its squad most likely in the summer. This might be the season where City suffer and just try to pull through for that top 4.

Not really, he just copied Johan cruyffs play style with the added bonus of having an unlimited budget, what part of the game exactly did he influence or change? Great manager who achieved great things but let’s not pretend he invented short passing or passed on any sort of wisdom or philosophy to the sport. He holds the record for the highest spending coach in world football history by about a quarter of a billion and his successes reflect that.

@@kyle9791always had an open chequebook hasn't he? He's had one injury and the whole team has capitulated. It's a failure of management to depend on one player so heavily, and then to not have the tactical ability to get results in that player's absence. Injuries have never been allowed as an excuse for any other club. Also many other managers would have got better results with the same squad over the past 12 games

Thankyou for assuming on peps behalf . He hardly looks exhausted and dejected . In fact he speaks with passion and desire to get his side back on track . Peps been around the block way way to many times to fall apart over bad patch of form . Even when Klopp had a bad season riddled with injuries and bad form he still fought for his team , he was never exhausted and dejected . Klopp came back from that season stronger and so will pep . Keep watching .
