NIfty old blow torch. Better than just a display piece, it actually works...NOW! Good job Danny

Thank you, George! I'm very happy with how it came out. Thanks for checking it out, and stay warm... it's about to be winter time here in TN ;-)

I got a big one that my brother got at the dump swap table. I will get to it someday. With that trough under the burner you might even be able to get that torch to run on kerosene, like the Coleman kerosene lamps and lanterns. Thank you for showing us your little project, Danny. Stay safe and stay warm

I was a little nervous about using gasoline so I used white gas/Coleman fuel. It did well but seemed to spit & sputter a little. I may try some K-1 in it sometime just to see. Thank you for checking it out, Sean. We're getting the coldest weather of the winter so far... and maybe even some snow tomorrow & Monday. I've got the back-up heat ready just in case... we'll stay warm one way or another. Take care!

lol Thanks for checking it out, Scott. My next vid won't be bringing something back to life, but rather making something new out of old junk. I hope all is well with you & yours!

That torch is real cool Dan. You have it working great and looking good too. I collected several torches but don't have that make and model

Seeing a vid of yours a good while back got me interested in these, then another 'Tube friend, Jan Kotze made a vid on one too... I decided a while ago I needed to find myself one and here we are! I bought a small Lenk torch last year, but it's incomplete. It makes a nice shelf sitter though... Thank you for checking it out, Lloyd!

That’s very cool. I have two torches of similar vintage that need attention. Maybe I should dig them out of the board. Thanks for sharing.

You should! Be smarter than me tho, and don't light them surrounded by combustibles LOL. Take care, Steve!

As a kid they used those to help get the paint off of houses. I guess they stopped after they burned a few houses down. Ya got that working real quick. Say, I gotta bolt on my gas tank strap that I want to heat up do ya think I can borrow that? Good video. Happy Motoring.
@oldchevy4x43 жыл бұрын
I mean, turning the paint to ash is one way of removing it... LOL! I don't think this torch would get that bolt hot enough to loosen up... but the sudden force from the blast might just do the trick LOL. Thanks for stoppin' by bud!

@@oldchevy4x4 Yeah and maybe flames down near the gas tank is not the best idea. Thanks for letting me pull your paint stripper. Oops I mean Otto torch.

I was even more impressed with my find when I found out it's a relic of the current Bernzomatic company. We use their products where I work. Thanks for checking out!

Went ahead and subbed after seeing ya on Calvin's livestream, see you are a TN boy, too. Jackson county here, just outside of Gainesboro. Had a 30 acre plot south of Lobelville, 20 yrs ago though. Nice torch there now!

A friend of Calvin's is a friend of mine, thanks for checking this out! We're from near Buffalo, NY originally (don't hold it against me lol)... we moved down here going on 15 years ago. Lobelville is about 15 minutes north of our place. Looks like we're in for a little snow... stay warm!
