I always search "free" on Facebook Market. I have never used OfferUp so I didn't know they had a free section too! I had stumbled across a free ottoman as well but I covered it in fur for the kids gameroom. I love the way your's turned out! The fabric & paint color looks good with your rug and sofa❤❤❤

No I didn't end up keeping the old fabric... I kinda have a weird thing where I don't like keeping the fabrics from pieces I get from the free section... I think I may be a closet germophobe ;)

I got the lights off of amazon and it's a string light curtain :) It's really nice and has a remote that lets you change the twinkling patterns. It's actually not a new couch "exactly" We had this couch in our little office room, and I dragged it out into the living room because I wanted to see how a lighter colored couch would look in the space. (My husband thinks I'm crazy....don't tell him he's right!!) :p
