I am Japanese.On September 16, 1890,An Ottoman ship was wrecked in the sea near Japan. Most of the people on the boat were many thrown into the sea because of the storm. Japan rescued the Turks thrown into the sea. Japan treated the injured many Turks who were saved. 69 Turks have been rescued.The Japanese gave the Turkish a warm meal every day. Many Japanese donated money to save the Turks.The Japanese loved and cared for the 69 Turkish people.The Turkish injury has healed.And Japan sent the survivors of the Turks safely to the Ottoman Empire.The 69 Turks were able to reunite with their beloved family and friends.

I always pray for Turkish happiness.The statue of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is located in the town where the Turkish monument is located. And this video is the image when the statue of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was placed. And after the statue was placed, the 120th memorial service for the Turkish died was held.Japanese royalty also attended. Many Japanese prayed for the deceased Turks.I also prayed for the deceased Turks. This is a video of the 120th Turkish Memorial Ceremony in 2010. kzbin.info/www/bejne/epqad5x_rNFsbpo

Mahmud I was allegedly buried alive. He collapsed to the ground after Friday prayers and was buried after a short time, saying he was dead. However at the end of the condolences, a tradesman said that there was a voice from the grave and that it belonged to the sultan, the tradesmen rushed to tell palace management and the tradesman was allegedly never seen after him. reason for this is called the ambition of his brother Osman III's throne.

I’m Muslim, not very religious although I do love and respect my religion and I do believe in Allah. I was always fascinated by the Ottomans in general, not just because they had one of the most successful and long-lasting empires in history. Sultan Mustafa’s death is absolutely heartbreaking (2:20), imagine living 34 years in one room and die so young, like sultan Ahmed for example, he died when he was only 27. And Mustafa only had to live like that because his mother tried to dethrone Ahmed (Mustafa’s older brother). In my opinion, his mother should’ve payed for the sin of trying to kill the sultan since Mustafa was still a child when that happened. But yet he was the one who payed for his mother’s sin. I’m also watching Kösem (a Turkish TV show about the Ottoman Empire) which is why I know all of this (10/10 would recommend to everyone btw). I also learned some turkish words along the way.

After watching #MagnificentCentury am so intrigued by Turkish history. Lol!I thought English&French history was bloody and full of backstabbers 🤭 These men(sultans)lived such short but colourful lives. This would be an amazing episode of 1000 Ways to Die-become a Sultan. The women of the palace seem to have lived equally colourful lives... Intriguing!

Sultan Murad II abdicated but was brought back by a Janissary rebellion, which is why both he and his son had 2 reigns. Mustafa was deposed twice coz he was a puppet and couldn't rule at all due to mental disabilities.

Not all of them were great and most of them were cruel and had no mercy., they valued the throne way more than any family member. Osman 2 Tried to do so many important things and actually he was a Smart guy and he Thought that he should do some Military reforms and so many different reforms but the Janissaries find out his plan and they prisoned him and Smothered him in the Yedikule Dungeons. After that they Brought that crazy Mustafa to power and he did absolutely nothing. Janissaries destroyed Ottoman Empire. İf Osman the second could have changed the military to a more nationalist and stronger army. Maybe They could have Supressed the Nationalist rebellions at 19th Century and maybe their would be still an Ottoman empire or even Central powers Could've win the WW1 so maybe we could have seen a bigger Ottoman empire or Turkish Republic in the future. Even though they have won important wars in the history and did a great job in first few centuries of Ottoman Empire Janissaries are still the biggest damage to the Ottomans

I am wondering how Ertugrul and Osman would have felt if they had known their Empire they worked so hard to create would result in future greedy Sultans, and conspiring family members. Just looking at the strangling of sons done by law, and the poisoning is enough to throw a big shadow on a empire that could have been truly great. Wondering when the kidnapping of women started in order to create the harem? Empires always fall when they become so decadent and rich. just to survive in the harem would have been so consuming with the constant need to be the favourite of the Sultan or to have a son. Not so glorious.
@farukkonuralpeser2906
@farukkonuralpeser2906 Жыл бұрын
You are misinterpreting events because of your incomplete information. A Fight for the Throne can happen in any empire. Only the Ottomans continued to rule for 620 years thanks to the system they applied. In the harem, not everyone lives for the Sultan. Shows don't reflect reality. Harem is a school and also serves as an educated wife to Commanders, Statesmen and ambassadors. In order to enter the harem, a woman should not be beautiful, smart, lucky and Turkish noble. It is a serious institution that gives chance and opportunity to talented people.
