I’ve seen people who are amazing with it. I’m still fairly new to the game but I think it’s funny if you read 5 different articles about the best guns they may all be different. I like using light with throwing knives and a grappling hook to rush people or get away I think it’s a good weapon but I’ve seen so many people say it’s garbage. The only drawback is is I think that the heavy attack throw should be quicker. I use it when I can but when I’m fighting someone and we are both moving it can be hard to time and land. (I do like to use it if I jump on a zip line after an enemy). I’m pretty good at hitting my throws and I have a blast with the knives. I just think even if they need to lower the damage a bit to compensate it would be worth it.

Yeah, that's why I main it. I have pretty bad aim from afar, so I play with a movement based kit and stick with my team. It's better to finish off enemies that already have damage rather than take em head on, but I've also won fights taking them head on, so it's a matter of what's comfortable for the user.

Good tips. Medium Shotgun is viable and FCAR is not be all end all best gun. Shotgun has faster TTK if you play with your range and with your team. FCAR struggles in 1vX scenarios due to the constant reloading down time. Same is true with the shotgun though but in team fights enemies die way faster. Cover peak with the shotgun. Use cover in between shots and reloading. Also Recon + Shotgun is disgustingly good just make sure you have another medium with healing beam.

Tip for console shotgun theres a thing called snap aim and will snap to target when u ads so it's actually useful to do so on console u must be close but still helps

Medium 1887 shotgun absolutely fries lobbies filled with Lights, as only a single pellet needs to connect to break the Invisibility cloak, and they are a pretty easy 2-shot. Most Lights lose their game plan and panic if you pop their cloak before they can get in their preferred range. Of course this is more for quickplay environments since ranked isn't teeming with Lights, but still very undersold here in this video.

5:42 My medium with shotgun is op, so yes, the shotgun is as good as the other weapons if you know how to use it, a good tip for 1v1 with shotgun is to shot, then slide side ways while doing the lever-action animation, that way you don't get beamed before shooting again. It's a preference but I personally love it and it gives a cool gameplay style.

I definitely need help on medium and heavy, I always end up getting frustrated and swapping back to light. The hit & run technique just seems to work best for me lol also with the gas & fire canisters did u notice if you punch while holding them they start to leak before you throw it and blow up easier. Annnnd I see people mention the vents that only light and mediums can fit through if being chased by heavy, but the heavy can usually just press Q and break the whole wall down or RPG the wall lol

Honestly heavy’s are usually are pretty easy to deal with in a 1v1 especially,most heavy’s in my experience think their these unstoppable tanks so not directly pushing them instantly while rotating positions to get them down to at least half health before pushing them,I played light but now I play medium and pretty much you should always play angles as a medium and rotate positions,you don’t have enough to push like a heavy or enough mobility to mess up aim like a light,it’s relatively easy for me personally to only push mostly with teammates

For the bouncing cashout, I actually had someone counter this today by just throwing goo underneath the landing spot to make it roll, so just a heads up for anyone planning on using it. Also the Model 1887 is actually my main weapon as a medium with the grenade launcher as a medium. I play with the zipline and jump pad though, so I get a lot of mobility and as long as you stick with your team, then you can do a lot. They may not be meta, but just like anything in The Finals, in the right hands it can be deadly.

“Don’t run a shotgun”. Okaaay, that was weird. Shotgun, unfortunately, is the only weapon on medium that can provide me with stable 15+ kills per match. Idk, perhaps because this weapon doesn’t rely on headshots as much. That thing two-shots mediums WITHOUT headshots from a respectable distance + it embraces mobility. Can’t imagine why I shouldn’t run shotgun if it just works for me the best. Even on your vid (6:03) you almost one-shotted light (took about 90% of his health with a single body shot). The high end medium build is not about dropping 15 every game its about winning and SUPPORTING your team that way you can stay in diomand and try for top 500. Yeah it feels good dropping 20 a game but if your kill hungry just stay in quick play an it doesn't matter what you run or do. If you stack 2 explosive mines and a propane tank, you're literally a glass cannon and any stray bullet will trigger a chain reaction and kill you instantly. If you keep dying on this strategy, consider just using only one mine or give up.

For me I run grenade launcher, bounce pad (can be swapped for something else), deffib, gas mines, and turrent. In my opinion this is the best defensive build for medium. Throwing gas on the point and then shooting it causes the gas to immediately go off like any other weapon but since the Glauncher has splash its way easier to use so if you stand on the floor above the cash out station and chain gas mines so when the gas fades place another mine and pop it you can almost permanently have gas on the cash out, that with turrent makes it incredibly hard to steal while the medium is alive

just a thing I noticed while watching, about the tip for putting mines on the cash box in case you get caught off guard, if the enemy shoots that mine it'll blow up in your face. just be wary of that and dont be surprised if you nuke yourself sometimes lol

A tip for the Fcar is if you tap shoot two bullets let got the pin tap 2-3 bullets again you can synce up the flow of bullets and get a rifle with zero recoil, if you panic and hold it down it will ramp up and pull right so tap tap tap tap tap it will become automatic fire rate if you tap it fast and you will beam

I run what I call command playing command you are the leader you tell your team verytjing that is going on in your commander kit you use recon/sonar grenade/gas mine or grenade / defibrillator, your sole job is constantly giving call out by managing your see threw wall ability and when teams get close you throw a sonar where they will be going so you always get the most out of them, gas’s grenades to deny steals from cash outs your main weapon should be ak gold skin preferably. With jackpot jiggle as tactical reload animation and outfit of your choosing

That's an interesting way to play. I play a mobility medium: I run the zipline, jump pad, and defib. That way I can help move my teammates if they can't get somewhere, and if I'm on my own I can easy flee from a fight to avoid team wipes

There is something that I do as a recon medium. i get a glitch mine and i put it on a red barrel. when the barrel explodes the mine will activate too. i use that to remove shields or to screw the enemies. People don't expect being glitched by a H M M.

This vid is p decent for the most part, but there are some things that I very much disagree with here. Run whatever gun you want lol; Every gun has the potential to carry in the right hands. Don't force yourself to use basic assault rifle if it isn't your playstyle. And bro why you dogging on the 1887 so much lmao it's higher dps than even fcar under 15m, and being able to deal so much dmg in an instant lets you stay safe in cover between shots, so as long as you reload responsibly and position well you're golden. Hell, run whatever specs and gadgets you want too. Healing is certainly best when you're in an organized team, but solo traps + bounce pad is the way to go imo. Even then, nothing is the be all end all, so just play what's fun! You WILL perform better with a bad build that fits you rather than a good one that doesn't. That's the end of my rant lol. Go out there and have fun!

counter tip for jump pads blocking doorways. you can destroy jump pads very easily just shoot it and run through. placing pads in doorways is usually a waste of a pad.

If an enemy shoots your jump pad, he is: 1- revealing his location through sound, so you dont get sneaked up on. 2- Making himself vulnerable for a few seconds while he has to reload his bullets. 3- losing more time to break it than you spent putting it up. So its very advantageous.

Lots of games lose performance after the beta because they add the anticheat, which sucks resources. Make sure ray tracing is off and lower your settings. If that doesn’t work make sure you don’t have chrome or anything else open. If that doesn’t work you can go to the nvidia control panel, go to 3D settings, select the finals, and make sure it’s using your graphics card and has high performance selected.
