Sir Please make a video on how a film is released in theatres once it is ready. There are lots of information on film making. But no one tells whats going on inside film distribution. Please make a detailed video which covers all these questions. I want to be a individual film maker. Please answer madi. A scenario - Suppose a film is ready and invested some amount lets say 10 lakhs. Then what is the next procedure a producer has to do. The producer has final cut copy of film with him, which is also censored. Then , next he has to approach UFO OR CUBE ? 1. To upload his film to screen in theatres ? 2. How much money a producer has to pay ? 3. How a distrubutor distrubutes a film ? Like example Bangalore area or Hubli area ? 4. Will the distributor buy the film for 10 laks ? If he buys the film , then how he shares the profits with producer ? 5. As a producer do i need to pay for theatres to play my film lets a for a week or releasing without any payment and sharing profits ( if it earns ) with theatre owners. What if it doesnt earn. 6. Difference between self distribution of a film and someone else distributing the film. 7. I heard somesay say, there will be big fight in between theatres owners to show film in their screen before releasing a big film just before a day of its release. I mean these theatres ownersa are fighting for what ? 8. If a producer wants to release only in multiplex lets say pvr. Then how much rent has to be paid by producer ? Or there is no need to pay anything in beginning but if it doesnt earn any amount then mimimum operational amount has to be paid to pvr ? Are there any conditions like these. 1. A producer struggled to put 10 lakhs in a film. Now if he wants to release in entire state , suppose 100 theatres then again per theatre how much money he has to spend. Without money can he release. I am newbie in this field. My question may feel childish or kiddish to you, but i dont know whoom to ask sir. And last , you have worked with many producers. Can you please tell how big is hombale films production house ? Can a individual film maker , approach these big film houses ? Will they allow to listen t our scripts ? How to approach them or any corporate style film houses.? I have lots of questions but simply i want to know , what are the step by step procedures to release a film in single screen theatres structure and corporate multiplex structure. Please answer if you feel its worth to make video on this. Thank you sir . Take care.

One thing crossed my mind. When we can get same song in different platforms (Wynk, Spotify, Saavn, Gaana, Apple etc) why can't the movie not uploaded in different OTTS? Yes in that case rights price will be less (as it is non exclusive) but you can reach that price as you get from all OTTs (either straight buying or revenue sharing concept) and also your movies will reach to more people

its because the in movies the rights are made between producer and streaming service that he littraly sold the product he made but in the music the songs are not completly sold ,the owner is getting the royalty through mutilple streaming services,he just not sold it completly

In one of the interviews few years back, may be after Vishwaroopam, Kamal was asked if he would get unlimited money, what kind of movies or the genres he would create or consider? Kamal said, he would use all the money first to build/educate the audience and then make movies. :)

Why is Physical media releases non-existent in India? Appreciated when Lucia came out in Blu ray, but there are no physical media releases after that.

for the creativity of arts , there should be an expiry of Date/time for owning the rights... even for the AI its same, AI is child of language and objectivity ... there is a contribution of all of humanity to that... including the mokneys which remained in the forest... its an illusion if Big companies to start owning the AI..
