There were two tracks going on parallely, the past and the present. I only cared about the past, that's the reason I saw the full movie. The present felt like "forcefully trying to be a thriller" . Ending shock was good. Rarely someone comes in public n talks about the mistakes they made so appreciate you for that 👍

Posting this because it seems like you are really interested in the reason why this didn't work. Excuse the bluntness. For me, it was the writing. The movie felt like a 2 and a half hour anti smoking petition written by someone who's had too much cigarette smoke blown at him and was helpless about it. And nothing else. It had the potential to explore the moralities of the corporate class, the ambitious employee and a lot more. The characters, their motivations, the actions, and their consequences all felt contrived. I didn't feel anything for the characters or their situations. It didn't explore the tobacco industry or its auxiliary industries and their dynamics. As a movie, it had neither the relatability of Thank you for smoking or the surrealism of No Smoking. Hope to see some great stuff from you in the future!

Dhoomam climax was not convincing. Hero did not win. Hero heroine chemistry was not up to the mark.

Hello I have watched most of your work and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The same goes with Dhoomam, just wished the general audience felt the same. Eagerly waiting for Kudi Yedamaite S02 and Dvitva.

Hi Pawan...i am fan of your work and have watched all ur movies....the concept of the movie was great...but let me give my personal opinion...it is just my opinion....when you compare this movie with your old movies,....i felt bgm was weak....and screenplay was good..but it was like a serial...i mean there was something missing...but felt the movie was very slow...no surprising elements... May be the making should have been still more better with more commercial elements (masala type)..as this is different concept and topic...i strongly feel bgm was not good... screenplay could have been better....when compared to ur old movies..climax was not convincing,.... should have tried different different ending

Yeah, the movie goes with time factor but pacing was too fast ,y bcuz thriller movies want to have a impact on the audiences,which is by the threatening reactions (acting) but not that much impact and the negotiation factor was not convincing in a way

Building up the movie till climax is good !! But the climax itself is not worth !! It spoiled entire film 🍿 got to know why its very free in KZbin!! Please do work on the climax thats the biggest mistake of the film
