Just wanna say thanks for this entire series of videos. You cover a ton of content in a concise and easy to understand manner. Ref. the holster cap, another thing I've heard is that they're intended to protect the flashlight lens from damage from things like seatbelt buckles when sitting down in a car. There's a company called Ghostmen Designs which makes a product named the Portal, which is an aluminum replacement for that cap with a hole bored through the center of it. The hole is large enough to allow brass to fall out, but small enough to prevent seatbelt buckles from getting in. Worth a look. They also make extended versions to accommodate longer lights like the Modlite PL350, which in some holsters will not fit unless the original cap is punched out.

Awesome, yeah iv seen those caps, but I kinda feel they are a solution to a problem that doesn’t exists. But to each their own.

I run a TQ on the front of my holster, I use the centaifuge Negative Cant Plate + Equipment Mount. Its pretty awesome. I run another TQ on the other side of my belt in a HSP TQ holder, so I can access a TQ with either arm one goes down. Great videos and keep up the great info!

Wilder tactical has a injection molded nylon version of the True North holster system. There is also the bang hanger from Guardian Warrior Solutions. Both will allow negative cant.

I used the MHA on duty in patrol for a little bit. Definitely helps with the “cant” of the gun but I wasn’t a fan of how long the thing is. Felt weird sitting in a cruiser for 12 hours.

If that’s the Tegris one yes. I would never trust 12 layers of Tegris to carry my holster.

The fail-point I would be worried about for the bang hanger is the thin molle belt loops. I'd rather have a more solid connection to my belt.

@@SoileaterYTit’s got an extra plate in it to make it 24 layers of Tegris. I had A UBL snap on me so I switched. I tried the MHA and it was horrible to sit in a car at the 2 o’clock position.
