As a native of "North America", I think this is great! I read, Otyken's members are of Chulym, Ket, and Selkup ethnicity - ethnic groups that may be related to the Ainu and to the "Native Americans". Awesomeness, thanks again Otyken!!

Only the Kets are related, they are related to the Navajo tribes by language. Chulym people are Turks. The Kets have a basic vocabulary very similar to the Sino-Tibetan languages, the Dene Indians and the inhabitants of the Caucasus (Chechens and Ingush). They form the Sino-Caucasian language family

It's been interesting observing distant nations trying to politically claim the first peoples of North America. I feel like something's going on incentivising it, and that there's WAY more complexity to the last 400 years than political interests have permitted in American schools. 🤔 My hunch is that the European settlers actually LIKED the American-indians, learned a lot from them and began intermarrying voluntarily, but learned a paradigm-shift away from loyalty to their old politicians an ocean away, and more stout loyalists to the various crowns saw this as an obvious social problem, a pollutant in their original visions for the colonies, and THAT'S why calculated agitators started treating the American-indians like dogs and driving them as far away from the various European settlements as possible-to keep their mutually affected communities separate. 🤔 Most of the Colonial-era American stories I've ever heard make WAY more sense in this context, right down to the use of tribal costume and icons borrowed to politically represent the Colonists themselves in opposition to the old European powers. 🤔 Even these days, there seem to be distant political interests with designs on making sure peaceful relations between immediate geographical neighbors never happen in America-let alone the preservation of ANY North American culture, whichever ocean it crossed. Control the perception of the past to control the direction of the future!

One problem with AI models is also the over-training of some keywords, narrowing down specific keywords to very specific images. The moment you add worlds like Native Americans, your outputs will start looking like stereotypical chieftains. So it would be very hard to get images that are genuinely representative of some smaller, less known ethnicity and cultures or time periods. As a Quebecker, we have the same problem: Canadian flags and characters appear everywhere, erasing our own actual history and culture.

A friend sent me a random video the other day, as he usually does, and I decided to take a look. It was a song from Otyken. I was immediately taken by the ethnic tribal sound infused with a techno vibe and fell in love. I have listened to your music every single day since. The compostion is superb. All of you are amazing musicians and the sound you create is unlike anything I've ever heard. I have been inspired by all of you. I wish i knew all of your names so that I could address each of you for your talents. For the lead singer, you are a beautiful woman and your voice and vocal talents are astounding. The guy or guys that do the throat singing have inspired me to start to learn how to do that, as well as how to kearn to play the didgeridoo since I have had one for yrs but never took the time. The beauty that plays the mouth harp has inspired me to pick that up and learn. For the rest of you, I love you all. I hope that one day you will be in the United States so I can see you live. Maybe by then I will have learned all the words and possibly a new language. Keep making amazing music like this. It makes me want to return to nature and spend most of my days in its beauty as I did when I was young. Much love to you all

They likely greyscaled what the AI generated because they(Otyken or the people making this video) thought the AI-assisted images used colours that looked too crazy.
