It was obvious that Milroe thought he could use his speed to beat OU's defenders and get outside. He not was prepared for the speed of OU's defense laterally and got dropped for no gain or a loss just about every time he tried. He was frustrated by that, and how OU's rusher were in his face in about 1.5 seconds every snap and that led to the picks. GREAT game by the OU D. Holding any team to 3 is tough. Holding Bama to 3 is incredible.

THANK YOU! You make this victory that much better. We knew this was a rebuild season but I could never hate our defense because I remember a decade when we didn't have one. We must of broke the glass on Bud Wilkinsons playbook!

It showed his lack of effort and lack of class. He literally could have just 2 handed shoved Lewis out of bounds but he's obviously just lazy AF. And the funny thing is, Alabama is going to pay him millions of dollars next year as well.🤣

Legit thought this was gonna be a blowout with Alabama winning. For what Alabama did to LSU, Georgia and Missouri, I thought for sure we would lose by 3 touchdowns or more. But for oklahoma to go out there and completely dominate and shut down Alabama on both sides of the ball is crazy to think about. I’m just as confused as Alabama fans on how Oklahoma was this dominate to win the game lol but I’m not complaining, amazing game either way by Oklahoma.
@austinmetheny27Ай бұрын
The O-line actually played football for once and we didn’t make a crap ton of terrible mistakes. Also the play calling was good for once lol
@drwinstonOboogiАй бұрын
It's been ages since Alabama's offense has been this dominated. The highlights don't show all the points OU left on the field and the game wasn't near as close as the final score was. If OU had an offense like they're known for they could have won this game by 80.

Maybe a Senior Night fluke, maybe not. We’ll see against LSU. I hope it’s that this bunch is just now jelling as a team when they normally would’ve jelled in August. In any case, finally, this looked like how an OU team-I mean, TEAM-plays.

Can we talk about how our run game started to really improve the moment Barnes got hurt? How was Robinson sitting on the bench the entire year? Whoever is making the depth chart needs a serious examination, or DeMarco needs less say. Tatum is mid and Barnes is a worse version of Brennan Clay, neither are OU running backs.

You can't never count out a team in the sec even if they have a losing season
@cale115Ай бұрын
Amazing what happens when jackson arnold isn't actively sabotaging the team. He is still a broken and lost qb and whoever made the call to let gabriel go and have him take the reins should be fired. Whoever thought hiring OC's who lacked talent and had no track record at other schools that would make them qualified for the job at a program like OU, instead hiring solely on loyalty, should be fired. What's wild is we have a qb who can't average 100 yards a game throwing, and beginning of the year they wouldn't run him for fear of injury, but not it doesn't matter so he runs like he should have all along. I have never seen a kid, let alone a 5 star, who can't, won't, isn't allowed to target a guy deeper than 7 or 8 yards and stretch the field wide. He doesn't find the guys during the windows in which they are open, can't pull the trigger when he does find them, and has happy feet. The cherry on top of the crap sundae of this season has been how do you have your top 5 pass catchers go down, and for basically the whole season? Just the worst luck of any team in decades or is there an issue with the stress and workload of the strength program and training room maintenance work? Too bad this win came after a couple tough de-commits.
