I doubt they’re used yet to the blocking scheme as compared to previous years. IZone blockings is just different. What’s encouraging is how they looked coming out of the half. They looked unsure in the first half rather than just not talented if that makes sense. This is still a new roster for Gabriel with a lot of new pieces as well. I suppose it’ll take them a bit longer to gel than o thought but that’s called hype lol. I agree he needs to learn to throw it away much sooner, but they held him back in camp so I doubt his chemistry with everyone is solid yet. I think we can see what’s there though. Once it clicks for them, look out. Defense as well

WoW ! Looks to me like Majors is getting better every snap, Gray has improved as well ! Our QB is getting better and our TE’s are Elite !! The O line needs some work but seems itsmore about timing than anything else ! The D as a whole, smokes last year ! So why are some folks bitching about OU ??? I suspect its that we were playing Kent state vs Ohio state ? We don’t know much about them ! Yet they went to abowl last year plus were top 5 in the country in Offense ??? I don’t know where the D rated But their safeties were both very good in run support ! Against the run they seemed very good ! Anyway I really like where this team is heading, the Nebraska game should give us some better insight on where we are in the process ! They have big strong kids too and we know about their QB !

Kent State...lmao. I consider myself a serious CFB fan and realized that in the 60 odd games CLR was HC @ OU I may have watched 3 of them. Total. Had no problem with OU. Respected them. Big Boz fan when I was a kid and always loved Switzers swagger. And I knew or was aware that this Lincoln Riley was some sort of offensive prodigy and was vaguely aware of some of their skill players. The first game that really caught my attention was the red River game and CW coming out party last year. And the reason I never watched OU is that they aren’t glamorous or sexy or a rock star brand. Their fan base actually probably leans into that heavy and as a guy who grew up in Tex-izzz I get their whole deal and that vibe. But nobody outside that region ever thinks “I gotta catch the Oklahoma game” SC is glamour. SC is sexy. SC when it’s rolling is Hollywood royalty, a national brand that pulls in everyone even if it’s just to hate on them. CLR at OU then coming to SC is night and day. We are two games into this thing. TWO. GAMES. And the team that went 4-8 and was a punchline a year ago is a top 7 team with national pundits fawning over them and local writers already proclaiming them the best team in the country. (pump the brakes a bit Bill if for nothing else whatever shred remains of your “objective” credibility) That is the power of plugging The genius of Lincoln Riley into the USC brand. Nothing has changed about HIM. What he does, how he runs a program, his on field demeanor, play calling etc. He’s been doing this for years. He just went from Hallmark Network to HBO. This guy is going to be a National rock star. Caleb Williams is literally going to be the face of CFB. The Coliseum WILL become prime time must see CFB television. If you can’t see the winds shifting in two weeks headed (quickly) in that direction you either aren’t watching or irrationally hate/deny SC. OU could never match this. Never offer it. Never compete with this. And that is a huge reason CLR took this job literally overnight. Having never set foot in the Coliseum or on campus. He didn’t need to. He knew the brand. He knew the City. And he knew what he can do and what he could do here could not be matched anywhere else.

1. This is bait. You came to an OU highlight video and spew this? Calling yourself a serious fan without recognizing OU as a legendary program is incredibly pedestrian. There is a reason the King said "People don’t know what it means to be champions. Oklahoma invented it." 2. The Rams won a Super Bowl and are still going to regularly have more visiting fans than their own at home games. LA is a city with nearly limitless options for entertainment. If LR can't bring home a championship OR TWO and soon, interest will pretty quickly dwindle because 11-1 seasons ending in a NY6 bowl just won't cut it out West. And with USC heading to the Big 10, that championship feels less and less inevitable. Oklahoma fans have high expectations, but we fill our stadium even in our down years. It's not just something you do on your free Saturday. It's what you plan every weekend around for 15 weeks year in, year out.

@@jeffreylboardsr2577 1. Thank you for proving me right about this being bait lmao 2. Ooh, busting out the anti-vax Swiss army knife: "Do some research?" On what? The PAC-12 being a dumpster fire conference? Ohio State's year-over-year dominance of the Big 10? Lincoln Riley's weakness to well-coached, disciplined teams? OU might have a rough transition, but the fans will still show up for every game, and we'll have patience as the team grows into the new, harder conference because we know it will make us better in the long run. If USC loses to OSU most years and LR drops his customary yearly game to a vastly less talented, but better coached team, I don't think USC fans will have that fire.

@@jeffreylboardsr2577 You know why USC and their fans are insufferable? You see an OU video and you just HAVE to duck in here to talk about LR, and how he's going to lead you to the promised land at USC. We don't fucking care. He left. We hired a new coach, and we're excited to see the future. We know the SEC is a different beast, but we know we're better off learning in the hellfire of that conference that getting to the playoff and losing by 4 TD every year. But for you all, it's not enough to be happy with your coach, you have to look for others to bring down. And when anyone presents and observations or evidence of why LR isn't the second coming of football Jesus all you have is the "no bro it's gonna be different here. we're gonna dominate. the natty is ours no problem. TRUST ME BRO I KNOW". Have fun skull-dragging Oregon and the rest of the corpse of the PAC-12, getting high on Hopium only for OSU/Michigan to drag you back down to earth. We know. We lived it.
