Kelly did one hell of a job pitching for OU, she did her part in and making HISTORY by 4PEATING which has NEVER been done and if and when Nijaree would come and join the SOONERS she would be the FIRST EVER to be 5PEATING and making HISTORY once or even TWICE again and that my friend would be VERY POSSIBLE and it would never even be TOUCHED EVER, plus where else could she play in front of 15,000 fans at one time, she would go great with LOVE'S Field 🙏👍

Agree. OU has some advantages that nobody else in this race has. Doesn't mean it's a lock, but it's true.

It's not too difficult to figure out. She most likely wants to win a national championship. She brings an incredible amount to the table. She's entitled to get something back like the ring. She is a rare talent, she will get compensation wherever she goes. Whatever team she ends up on she will want the team to have a good offense or she will have the same problem she had at Stanford. Jen Rocha would benefit Nija greatly.

Agree, Gary. Hard to argue against Rocha being the best pitching coach in college softball. And though Canady is already elite, Rocha could help take her game to the next level.

Oh I've mentioned Maxwell plenty in past shows. Even think it could be extremely useful for Maxwell to speak to Canady about her experience at OU. But Canady is the reigning National Player of the Year, so that's the point as to why it feels different. But yes, Maxwell was a big get and it ALWAYS be a legend here.

@@pamdsp47 Absolutely! So, she has notified Stanford she wants to enter in transfer portal. However, If she decides, she can still return to Stanford. (I don’t think that will happen.) Any team can contact Canady and offer a scholarship/NIL deal. Canady can also visit schools and get a better idea of the situation. Eventually, she will commit to her new school.

@@pamdsp47 if I may I could give you my opinion on why she wants to leave I have two theories. One, Stanford is going to the acc next year and the traveling would be too much. Two, maybe she wants to go to a team to where she will have backup and not have to carry all by herself like she did at Stanford. Now those are my theories not sure if those are the actual reason but it could be

I would definitely try to discourage my daughter from leaving Stanford to attend Oklahoma for softball. There is more life to live after softball. Which degree and alumni network would be more valuable to you later on?

She's already been accepted to Stanford. She can always go back after winning a couple championships AND getting paid. A graduate degree from Stanford is still very achievable after softball if so wants.

Lowry is a great freshman pitcher. She lost in the championship 1-0. She lost to Rache a 2026 commit. Her sister will be a catcher this year. If Canady does pick OU. OU will have a great staff. They are still chasing Addison Rackley for 2026. Patty Gasso follows 19 people. She is the only recruit she follows.
