You didn’t mention that Kinzie’s homer also kept us alive in the game that extended the winning streak to 48 and left OU alone at the top in that regard. She broke Arizona’s hearts as much as she broke Clemson’s - which makes the gap between #1 and #2 truly unbridgeable. That won’t be topped unless someone hits a two-out two-strike walk-off grand slam in the third game of a WCWS championship series to win by 1 run and extend a winning streak to 72 games.

One Sooner Magic moment that was one of my favorites was Shay Knighten's walk-off home run to break a scoreless tie and beat Alabama in OU's first 2016 WCWS game. I was in attendance for that.

Yeah I know exactly where I was at when Kenzie hit that home run against Clemson I thought it was over so I quit watching and went to get me some Mexican food at azteca Mexican grill here in Oklahoma City and I was listening to it on my phone and I think a lot of other people was as well because when she hit that home run the place erupted

But of course, my bias is showing a little. On another note, I'm going out on a limb with this prediction. I think the Sooner pitching staff will be better this year than last year. They have a great ace in Landry, and Deal is a seasoned veteran. Lowry is going to be really good, and Monticelli is gaining much needed confidence. Smith is also very good, so they are really deep. Five strong with very little dropoff. And the team as a whole will be Terrific!! So much talent. For me, they are the favorite to repeat with Natty #9. Let's Have It!!

Tiare jennings double off of canady in extra innings in the wcws. Two of the greatest players in the history of college softball going at it. Jennings had already struck out 2 times and then bam. I said out loud...."nobody strikes out tiare jennings 3 times in a game" ou wins 4-2 in 9 innings. Patti was asked to describe her former players with a word. When asked about jennings she responded "clutch". I'm pretty sure tiare has the best batting average in ou history with runners in scoring position and is top 5 all tine in ncaa history

OU is highly competitive nationally both with males and females in several sports. The football team was decimated this year by injuries. Big win over Bama. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of all these teams, find another school to support.

First and foremost, thank you for continuing to produce content. Secondly, I love that you are rattling chains with your picks. I don't think they will start that way, but I feel like once this Oklahoma team gets going in late season, they are going to be a team no one wants to pair up with. While you are right that the SEC has no really bad teams, there are a LOT of SEC teams in a rebuilding mode from a conference that really has underperformed for the past half dozen years come postseason. You mentioned Tennessee but really no team has made a significant SEC push to the finals since Florida got there in 2017 and lost to Oklahoma.

One thing that Patty will always do for every player and that is meet your expectations and when nobody believes in you, she believes in you that’s why she brought you to Oklahoma. Simply put if they get to OKC and with the crowd behind them good luck for the other teams having to navigate that situation !!!
